Calorie Countdown - Watery Wednesday, drink drink drink!

But not while you eat!
I swear, keeping it all straight is just sometimes too much for me. Did I get enough protein? Enough water? All my vitamins? My exercise? Did I clean out the cat box? Wash the dishes? Turn off the oven? Set the alarm? Pay bills? Pay rent? I have this LOOOOONG list of things I need to do, and for each one that gets checked off three more seem to be added.
Excuse me while I silently scream into this pillow.
Ok. phew. Do I feel better?
No.

Argh.
So what was I talking about? Oh yeah, water. DRINK! I have to remind myself constantly, DRINK JENNY DRINK! And unfortunately its not tequila.
Eating though, I don't have to remind myself of that. I'm as obsessed as ever. Plan for Wed? Not yet? What about you, what are you eating on Wednesday? I'll post when I know.

It has been unusually hot in CO this summer, I think we're on Day 3000 of above 90 degrees, so drinking water isn't a problem for me. If anything, I can't drink enough water. Add on the beginning of menopause (mini hot flashes) and life is just a bowl of noodle salad, I'm telling you.

i thought it was just me...whhhhhhheeeeeeeewwwwwwwww
I felt like for every pd i lost i lost 3 brain cells.lol
I make a list every night before i go to bed on what i need to do the following day..
Then i started forgetting where i put the list.lol
now i lay it on the laptop so i can find it..
i do forget to eat and drink....til my pouch sounds like a volcano about to errupt and then when i remember i try to eat to much.dumbbb

This is why I love you my dear! You say the things I think .....I had this same conversation with my FIL yesterday.....HE called to tell me how good I looked and I told him about this book I was reading....Confesions of a carb queen...have you read it? You should! .....All the things she did before she lost weight I do now.....Every little thing I out into my mouth I count I think should I eat veggie soup or beef veggie soup...while veggie soup has less calories beef veggie soup has more protein...should I have my protein shake tonight? did I already eat to much today? if I drink my proetein shake I will also get more fluid in...its like I want the counter in my head to STFU! lol

D=Kashi Go lean cereal no milk
s= baked tostitos and black bean dip about 10
I had a small coffee at the mall with milk too

You can call anytime. I may not answer if I'm working, which bugs my husband since I mostly work at home, but otherwise I'm usually free!
I think it's about trying to gain control of our lives. For one reason or another, we lost control of a part of our life and that loss of control caused us to become SMO. Whatever the reason, we compensated for that loss of control by eating more and more.
Now that we've had surgery, we have to take control over so much of our lives so that we are eating the proper amount of protein, consuming the right ounces of water, exercising, and on top of all that, obesesing (at least I do) about what the scale says. What a tremendous momentum shift for me at least. On top of the surgery and all the tracking, I've returned to school, and changed focus on my job. Sometimes I feel like it's too overwhelming! But I cope and I feel like I am coping well. If I can just get that pillow away from Jenn for a few minutes and scream and punch into it, I think it would help!
Last night, I didn't eat dinner. I just wasn't hungry, I had had 90+ grams of protein for the day and I just didn't want to eat. I had had about 800 calories for the day and I was done. Is it going to kill me? Nope. Will I continue on this path? Who knows. I'm moving away from the 1,000 calorie and just making sure I get my protein in for the day and I'm not hungry or tired.
So on the menu for me today:
B - SBD protein bar 10 g protein
S - Unjury protein shake 28 g protein
L - 3 oz ham and gruyere cheese
D - ??? grilled chicken and spinach salad sounds good to me
