Gym is Open (Whickering Wednesday) 7/30
I did most of my lower-body strength training routine at lunch. My right knee is bothering me, so I skipped a couple of my usual exercises and did shorter sets of a couple things as well. But I added some of the exercises from the physical therapist and my knee does feel a little better.
I'm going to a baseball game tonight, so will do some walking but no formal exercise, unless you count lifting a 12-ounce beer or two...

I went to the gym and about 10 minutes into the treadmill I started having a pretty strong abdominal pain, sort of like a cramp but really high, under my ribcage on the right side. I also had nooooo energy whatsoever. I slowed it down to 2mph and walked another 15min to see if it was a muscle cramp or what, and it didn't go away so I sat down and waited for hubby to finish. I didn't want to damage something. Well, its been a few hours and the pain has slowly moved down from my chest to my stomach and now its in my colon/lower abdomen. I've used some gas-x strips and burped a lot and had a lot of hot tea, which usually helps, and I'm thinking its going to be a most severe and wicked case of gas. I was very concerned for a while, but now that's its moved I'm feeling better, just uncomfortable and very bloated.
Kudos to everyone who exercised today!
I did 30 minutes of fat burning program on the treadmill, 45 minutes of strength training (upper and lower) and 4 minutes on the elliptical. I had a hard time focusing today, my brain kept trying to tell me I didn't want to exercise, so I had to turn up the Ipod in order to drown out the evil voices.
