Since loosing over 100 lbs I have to say that the 'girls'... have not only deflated like old helium balloons but have shifted "SOUTH".... Oi'Ve... Last night while channel surfing (Monday night TV is not the best...) Dr. Rey was on HSN with all of his 'shaper garments'. Good God I would pay big bucks to look like any one of those models but any who....

So here's my ??????? For those of you who have lost large amounts of weight and have found youself in the same predicament as myself (noticing in your picutres that the girls aren't much farther north than your belly button)... have you found a good bra that puts them back where they belong and if so.... PLEASE SHARE... I'm on the hunt this week to move 'em back up North where they belong...

I was a 48DD before surgery.  I went to LB a few weeks back and was measured and am now a 40D.  Yes, the are pointing south and are sad, sad, sad.  I tried on a plunge bra, a balconette and another one that I didn't remember.  They made the girls look great, however, I had a ton of loose skin hanging over under my armpits that was very noticeable with my clothes on and uncomfortable as well.  So I choose not to buy them.

I am wearing the Curvation bra that Queen Latifah promotes.  Its available at department stores as well as Walmart!  I prefer molded cup, underwire.  I would highly recommend going and getting measured because you will be surprised at how much you have probably changed.  I've been waiting for when Dillards has their professional bra-fitting service in again.  It's usually someone from Bali or maidenform that travels around the US and does bra fittings.  Most good department stores have them 2X a year.

Good luck on your search for perky breasts again!

Yep, my girls definitely moved south for the winter, so to speak!!!  It's a real challenge to find a bra that helps keep them in the northern hemipshere that also contains the excess skin around my sides, instead of just smooshing it up and out.  I tried to find bras on my own for a few months, then finally gave up, went to an intimates store and got fitted for two very expensive bras.  Once I knew what style of bra worked for my body, I was able to find a style of Playtex Secrets that work just fine, and they are much cheaper ($14 instead of $45) than the bras from the intimates store.

I'm looking forward to getting a breast lift toward the end of the year and having the girls put back where they belong!!!  After I've recovered from that, this girl is going to Victoria's Secret and looking for a sexy black little number to dress the girls up a little

Good lucking finding a bra that works for you and the girls!!!

Is that a molded cup bra?  It looks like the sides are high enough to contain the excess skin that I have.

No it's not a molded cup,  it's lace on the outside and lined,  it just seems to hold the girls in and UP better..... LOL

I was a 54 DD before surgery, probably not right but that's the size I squeezed in to. After loosing weight I finally went to Lane Bryant and got measured. I wear a 38DDD now and tried on every single style of bra they had in the place.

I fell in love with one of their underwires, something I would have never worn before. It was during their buy one get 2 free sale and I got 12 new bras! A bit crazy but I've got every color they had, and have fun wearing them all.

ETA: I just saw the picture Karen posted and that's the one I love too!!!

I've been wearing the balconette from lane bryant and it works quite well for me.  The ladies are up higher than they've ever been before.  I didn't used to wear padded bras, but they seem to be working out better for me now.  I've gone from a 46G to a 40DD so far.  I don't have a problem with the skin on the side flowing over, but that seems to be a complaint for a lot of people.  I think height has something to do with it, because the sides of a lot of bras are too wide IMO.  Since you are a shorty too, I'm thinking its the same for you.

Oh wait, oops, you are not a shorty.  For some reason I thought this was the little one - crap I can't think of her name.  You know, though.

Crackin up here..."little one"....wow thats a term NEVER before used to describe me. I've heard, shorty, short stuff, midget etc...LOL....I too have that "cup runneth over" syndrome having gone from a 48F to a 38DD now.  I am greatly upset over my girls, as they are the cause of me looking bigger than I really do...between them and my arms...the camera still betrays me. LOL  I guess the only way to fix the arm spillage is to have a bra with high sides. Let's be positive girls.....we are not finished with our journey yet so imperfections are bound to prevail...but things are sooooooooooooooooo much better than a year ago! RIGHT?  HUGS  Jeanine
