Rockies Win!
Just got home after an outstanding evening of baseball and fireworks at Coors Field. The game went long (11 innings), but the Rockies came from behind to win it in the bottom of the 11th. It was quite exciting -- the bases were loaded and POW! Ryan Spilborghs hit a home run. Woo!
I can't decide which was more exciting, the last minute win or the fact that I walked 12 blocks from my sister's office parking lot to Coors Field and then back another 12 blocks to the car after the festivities. I wasn't even winded (although I was a bit sweaty, it was kind of humid tonight). I certainly couldn't have done that even a year ago. Hooray for the Rockies, and hooray for WLS! Happy 4th, everyone!
Kix
YAY Kix! YAY Rockies, and YAY WLS! I am still afraid to go to a game, or an IMAX because I think that I will not fit into the seats! Even though I just bought those size 8 capris, in my mind my rear is so large that I will have to wedge it into the seat and I am very afraid of that very thing happening! Isn't that crazy?!?! I am very proud of you walking those 12 blocks each way, and dealing with the steps inside of a ball field. All of your exercise has paid off in so many ways!
Congrats to KIX and her victory over obesity! Go Kix Go!
Hugs,
