You can use a binder... sometimes your surgeon will even insist that you wear one.... some people are given them in the hospital.... ask your surgeon about it...... also SPANX makes a really good support garment that will help with the flapping....  but any good girdle should do the same thing....

When I run, I can hear my gut slapping against my leg.  I'm sure I was the only one who hears it, but it's embarrassing nonetheless. I wear a variety of foundation wear.  I started with Spanx, but they are so expensive and don't last long because of the rapid weight loss.  I just wear regular light or medium control undergarments most of the time.  Holds things in really well and aren't uncomfortable for me. I grew up with my mom telling me to wear a girdle most of the time.  I don't think most girls today even know what one is with as many muffin tops I see running around now.

I have that problem too.  I notice it when I'm nude and walking from the bathroom to the bedroom. YUCK.  I imagine it's only going to get worse, but thankfully with clothes, underwear and occasionally a girdle it doens't happen.  I'm just thankful to weigh less and look better (with clothes on).  :)

I only have that problem when I run or jump, but I would think a binder would be your best bet, especially at first.  Later on a good strong girdle might help.  I was also wondering if those pregnancy garmets that hold up the tummy to ease back pain might be worth trying but I haven't tried them or read anything either way.
