Gym is Open (Wicked Wednesday 7/2)

Here I said I wouldn't be online the rest of the week, and yet I am.  We're expecting people from out of town and they haven't quite gotten here yet, so I'll go ahead and keep the gym open the rest of the week. I plan to go up to Blackhawk, do a bunch of walking, eat some cheap (but tasty) prime rib, then come home. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

Swimming's on my agenda today. I need to be sure to get there in plenty of time to be done before swim team starts at 4:30. I'm teleworking, so I'll water and weed during breaks.

Drop a quarter or two in the slots for me, Kix, and have a bite of prime rib on my behalf as well!!!   I'm doing a 2-a-day today:  lower body strength training and core work at lunch, then 60 minutes of cardio after work.  Me, love my routine?  Whatever gave you that impression??? Kellie

Mmmm prime rib!  *homer simpson drool* I hope you have fun in Blackhawk! We are trying to do the gym everyday now, but for shorter amounts of time.  A half hour every day, just to get ourselves in there more.  We do good for a while and then we seem to skip out for a week.  Its got to become part of the daily schedule, like showering or brushing teeth.  Otherwise I just don't want to do it.  I am going to do a similar workout to yesterday, intervals for a half hour.  10min walk, 5min jog, 10min walk, 5min jog.  I am also planning on pulling out a yoga tape - I need to stretch and loosen up some, I'm stiff today.  I yawned really big and my back popped - never a good sign.
