recovery time from anesthesia?

How long does it take to get back to "normal" after general anesthesia  I have slept excessively since Thursday (at least 2 hour naps each day) and felt like a pig in my eating.   Also my weight is still up about five pounds and I'm pretty sure that it's water weight.  I just put my wedding rings back on my left hand today (left is the hand I had surgery on). So for those of you who have had surgery since WLS, what was your recovery time back to "normal?"

It could take a little more time to get over it than usual - your body is under a lot of stress with a low calorie diet, fat burning, and healing from surgery.  Your liver is also under a lot of stress so it may not handle filtering the drugs out of your system as efficiently as it would if you weren't post-WLS.  I wouldn't be too concerned, listen to your body and heal.  You'll get back where you need to be when you are ready.

I had my WLS seven weeks ago.  The sleepiness wore off after a couple of weeks, but the disorientedness just wore off in the past week or so.  My common phrase for nearly six weeks was, please excuse me - I am not on my A game.  And that is just how I felt from the anesthesia.
