Monday weigh-in

I think that I'm in my first stall.    I'm OK though because I'm journaling my food daily and am eating between 300-500 cal per day unless I eat peanut butter (then it's about 600).  It will start going down again (soon I hope).   Also, I was posting very high numbers until this point so even though that was exciting I couldn't expect it to last forever (although I dreamed).   Anyway, here's the scoop: Start of Liquid Diet:  465 Surgery Weight:  430 Last Week:  416 This Week:  414 Weight loss this week = -2 Total Weight loss = 51

You're doing just fine - don't let the stall get you too frustrated; it's just part of the process.  If you find it super-frustrating, I'd encourage you to put the scale away for a while.  At this point, you are definitely going to keep losing, so if the day-to-day numbers give you the blues, stick with weighing yourself once a week or even every other week.   The other thing you may find helpful is to measure yourself regularly.  For many of us, our shape/size would change even when our weight remained constant.  By taking measurements, it gives you another system to track just how much your body is changing!   Keep up the great work - you're over halfway to the Century Club!!! Thanks Kellie!  I *do* think that the scale needs to be put away and the daily weighing needs to stop for the time being.

I'm with you Kellie!  Seems like during the week and non-hectic weekends, I can stay on track and adhere to my routine, but the minute a busy social weekend comes along, I don't seem to get enough water in and I eat differently....not over indulgence and not sweets, but just different and then I end up retaining water.  It showed on the scale this week, but like you, I refuse to panic also. I just plan on getting back on track.  Good words of advice...thank you!  HUGS  Jeanine

I wasn't able to weigh myself until this morning, as to do so I have to make a trip to the hospital or my doc's office. I stopped on on the way to work Tues AM and found I was down another 4 lbs in 2 weeks. Start 450 (est) Last 425 Now 421    29 lbs!

Thanks! I'm noticing a difference in my chores & gardening - I can now bend over and breathe at the same time (as opposed to having my tummy cut off my lung capacity). I can't wait until I lose enough to make my feet hurt less.
