That is so frustrating!  I'm sorry that you are having troubles with the BCP.  Jsut keep tabs on it and if needed try another option.  :)

Some ideas for you to ponder: Is it stinkin' hot down there in Texas this week? We had a real hot spell over the past weekend here in Oregon and I retained so much fluid from the heat that I had the foot and ankle puffies for the first time in quite a while. Even my knees are a bit swollen. While the hormones certainly may be a big part of your fluctuation, is your weather a factor too? Spending more time outside exercising? Standing and walking more in the heat? I forget if you said you are/were on a diuretic - I find I need and extra 1/2 pill if it is really hot. Maybe do some water aerobics? Movement in cool water instead of the hot outdoors?

Something I think is wrong with me. I am not loosing weight like everyone else. I am two months and a week out and I have only lost 36 pounds my protein is at about 85-90 I eat about 600 calories a day and I work out twice aday 5 days a week. it is sort of depressing starting weight 436 Surgery weight 402 Last week 371 this week 366

I stalled for all of month 2 - so I only lost about 35-40lbs by two months out.  You'll be ok!  Just keep doing what you are doing, and make sure you are drinking enough!

Do you think maybe you are in a calorie deficit?  If you are only taking in 600 calories and then exercising them off twice a day, you're body could be holding onto every morsel of nutrition.  Talk to your nutritionist and see if she suggests you upping your calories per day?  Even so, you lost 5lbs this week which is AWESOME!!  :)

Here's my numbers for the week surgery wt:  344 last week:  287.6 this week:  284.6      lost 3 # this past week            lost 59.4# over all,   I was really hoping to hit the 60# mark.... Oh welll I should be there for sure next week!!

Kelly,  Thanks for posting again...I had a pretty knoshy weekend myself and for the fist time since surgery I drank a beer...A BEER a whole BEER! lol    I went to two graduation party's and I made the cake for the one on sunday ,  sunday started with me frosting a cake which of course I had to lick my fingers over and over I probably licked 10,000 calories off my fingers lol  Start =390  last week=229 this week=227.4 -1.6 I ate terrible all week too....I need to take care of myself and find sometime to just sit and relax a little.....I'm going to try that tonight after I have a nice long conversation about the internet rules with my 16 yr old niece who thinks its perfectly ok to talk to strangers online!  GRRRRRR
