Newbie!

I have been on the VSG board, but didn't know this one was around! I am having my surg in less than 2 wks, if my heart cath turns out OK.  The cardiologist  assures me everything will be fine. I started off with a 71 BMI, but I'm already down to the 60's on my preop diet.  So I'm excited! I look forward to gleaning lots of information from ya'll! Cindy

not sure if anyone on here has had vsg or not, but all are welcome.  We don't flame here and just offer good advice and support.  kudos on your weight loss so far!

Hi Cindy, Welcome.  You have come to the board of the most supportive people in the world.  We who have high BMI's have a longer and harder road.  The people on this board understand this and are always here to cheer you on. You will have to tell us about VSG. Good luck with your surgery.  You have to keep us all posted. Jeanne

I've been around a couple weeks but also hoping to get a VSG. So now there's at least two VSG/BMI50+ folks loitering around! *Bonds with Cindy* :) Darcy
