Hooray!!

I went to my nut today & I was so worried...scared that she would schedule me with more appts since my insurance will cover up to 6 months prior to surgery.  I had to lose 19 lbs before I could be scheduled to meet with the dr.  Last month I lost 10, but my pcp showed that I had lost 11 lbs...so I was worried that once again the scales wouldn't match.   Finally was called in to get weighed....WOOO HOOOOO I have lost more than was requested.  SHE RELEASED ME TO SEE THE DOCTOR!!!!!  I think this is really going to happen! So...now, the waiting game.  Within 2 weeks I will hear from Dr. O'Malley for a one on one with him (Finally) THEN I will hopefully get a date.  I am going to my PCP next week, so I will ask him to send Doc O'Malley the results from my last gastroenterologist appointments & tests and any other data that he thinks Dr. O will need, maybe then I will be ahead of the game and he will just schedule my surgery.   For now....WHOOO HOOOOOOOOOO

wooohoooo is right!!! its a great day!  I remember opening up my letter with all my tests on it and at the bottom was a penciled in date that said surgery....sept 26th I had to call and ask if that was my surgery they were refering to lol  Congratulations!  Estelle
