I shaved my legs today!

Well now - if this potential cave woman gets a a heman - then that's a whole other story!  My sister is super jealous because I always had strong pretty nails and for a few months pre-op I started taking Biotin.  They have just continued to grow and grow.  They are one of my greatest physical attributes!

Have you thought about investing in an inexpensive bath bench?  I still have mine from when I was circus fat, and I still use it when I shave my legs.  I hesitated about shaving my legs for awhile because I have a history of repeated cellulitis infections and I didn't want a stray nick to cause problems, but one day I just couldn't stand it anymore and carefully shaved my calves using about a half ton of shaving lotion.  Smooth as a baby's rear end!  Shaving my underarms is a real challenge because Hoppy and Bob (my independent upper arm fat) gets in the way and I have to shove things around to get to my armpits.  Oy! 

Oh, and I forgot to mention that my bath bench only cost me $30 and the weight limit is 500 lbs.

I have one ... in the attic.  I know - a lot of good it does me there.  I am so used to sitting on the side the tub, that I just never bothered to get it down.  After getting sick a few years ago, I couldn't get through a shower without sitting every so often.  And then after I got better, in the attic it went and perching on the side of the tub is what I did.  I guess old habits die hard.  Thanks for the suggestion though - I do love my newly shaved legs!!

ok Kix-you are officially HILARIOUS!!  "circus fat" that's what I say!!  Hoppy and Bob? I need to name mine too!

as for shaving: i discovered that my cake icing spatula perfectly scrapes off the hair melting magic that Nair or Neet provides-I love when any tool is a multi-tasker-cake anyone?

Shaving my legs is one of my guilty pleasures now myself since I don't have to play twister to do it. hahahhahha

good, will you do mine now? lol   I still hate doing it...I break out like a plucked chicken......I do it as rarely as necessary.....which is almost never lol    But my biggest bath wow moment is ...we have a jaccuzi tub and .....ok so not even my DH knows this but I was always afraid that me + the tub filled with water would be more than my 130 year old floor could take....thinking about it makes me giggle...but I could never relax all I could think about was ending up in the basement with a broken tub and really hurt @ss lol   Now I fill it up, turn on the jets and snooze!  but my legs are still hairy! lol  congratulations on getting around better in the shower....it really is amazing, the diff things we can do in such a short time!  Estelle
