HUGE SV

Woohoo!  I got to request my century card this morning!  Does anyone else feel like this journey is surreal?  I know I have made awesome progress my it just doesn't seem real.  I still feel like the "fat girl" I was six months ago and yet at the same time feel 100% better than I did.

Way to go girl. 104 pounds is awesome have you had alot of wow moments? i love when i have them... being heavyi feel no matter how much i lose ill always feel like the fat girl....

Surreal is the word I use constantly and until a person takes part in the journey, they can't understand the true meaning of the word and the awe it induces.  CONGRATULATIONS!!

congratulations to you!! you are doing great! that unreal feeling just lasts and lasts - at least in my case. it's been 3 1/2 years since my surgery, i've lost 293 lbs, my bmi went from 66 to 24, and i still feel like the fat girl. it's weird, but i'm just going with it! i think the hanging skin is at least part of not being able to get past it, but i believe another big part of the mind set is that i'm 51 years old and i've been seriously overweight my entire life. it's just gonna take time to re-set the brain! just enjoy your success! even though i'm semi-confused about what i look like, i'm VERY happy. all the best. deb
