Hi. Well last week was 9 months out from surgery. I am down 112 pounds and 135 pounds all together. I am wearing size 20 dresses and tops and 24 bottoms and 2X's down from 38W and 6X's.

We had another flood in the lower level of our split foyer but have finally put that to bed with a visit from a water proofing company. They did a fantastic job. We have had torrential rains and the basement has not leaked. They put in a subpump. They had to dig down to the foundation in a 12 inch trench to put it in all around the basement. Yes, they do it from the inside now. OY!! So it takes 28 days for the concrete to dry. Then we can fix the dry walls and relay the carpets. Hopefully this will be the end of this problem.

My 9 month labs were less then perfect. Had issues with pre-albumin, Iron, HCT, RBC, liver enzyms etc. But I am having very good luck getting it managed between my PCP and the new dietician at Bayview. She is very savvy with the DS and what she doesn't know she researches.
You can read more on my profile.

Hope all are doing well. Joteddie

What a fantastic transformation!   I hate to hear about your floods.  I know that was a pretty expensive fix for you.  Not good with the economy the way it is.  But at least it's been corrected and you and breathe easy now! Keep up the great work!

JoTeddie, I am sorry to hear the flooding problem isn't fully resolved yet.  We had similar issues when we lived in Utah 1,000 years ago -- when we had torrential rains, the window wells would fill up and then the water would pour through the basement windows.  What a mess!  I became very skilled at using the wet/dry vac, ugh! Hard to believe it has been 9 months already, where does the time go? Kix

Bummers about the soggy lower level, but it sounds like you've got it handled.  We need to do the same thing eventually, but so far we haven't had any significan****er in our basement.  Hope it stays that way until we have the $$$ for the waterproofing...   Congrats on your 135 pound loss - way to go.  You look fabulous - what a transformation.  You're super lucky to have a dietician who understands your needs; hopefully you'll be able to improve your labs in relatively short order.

Good luck on your continuing journey -

Kellie
