I have been waiting for this day!!!!!!!

I'm just blowing my own horn here lol  My scale says I weigh 239.2 and my BMI is 39.8 As of this morning I am no longer eligible for WLS my BMI is under 40 and I have no Co-morbidities, None , Not one! not even close to having one lol I feel good , My blood pressure is good , My sugar is good, My cloths look way better and I could pass a stress test on a treadmill for the cardiac Dr. who was a hottie BTW lol 

 

The best part is I am seriously PMSing… lol…….. and because of this I’m in a good mood lol

 

Honestly I know there are Docs out there that would get me passed if I wanted to have it done but I am so pleased with myself.   I am posting this because I want to tell everyone that is thinking about having the surgery  and UNDERSTANDABLY scared , it is  a very scary thing! It is something that you really need to think long and hard about and gather all the information you can…..make the best educated decision you can.. and then JUMP IN…If I didn’t have this surgery last year I may not have died YET…But…. I most certainly would NOT have lived long enough to see my 10 year old have kids and this I am certain about! L Now all I can do is pray that the rest of the stars are lined up and God is watching over me and what happens, Happens but at least i'm giving myself a chance at a "normal" life . I used to feel so guilty because I didn’t do things like camp or baseball or anything requiring physical activity...Now i'm the one pushing them all out the door! lol

 

Good Luck to everyone who is thinking about this surgery....I know for sure it was the right decision for me!  AND THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL MY BMI OVER 50 BUDDIES!   YOU!!! ARE ALL!!!! THE BEST!!  ESTELLE

 

I too am looking forward to the day when I am no longer morbidly obese but just overweight and join the millions of other Americans!  You have done such an awesome job since just last september.  150 pounds and gone from SMO to just overweight.   Congratulations.

Well i'm still obese just not as obese as i used to be......The funny thing is try to explain this milestone to someone who has not had or is not thinking of having the surgery and they just look at ya like,.,,,,,DUHHHH lol Oh well  Thanks!

YEA!!!!!  I know I just stepped onto a very scary road, but because people like you have walked on the same road and discovered success, I know I can too!  Thanks for sharing it keeps me motivated.
