Ok, that seatbelt thing really got to me too.  I can't wait until I don't have to worry about being buckeled in.  I am hoping to be able to go to the amusement park in the fall, if I don't make it by then, I know I will be able to go next spring for sure.  We live about an 1 hour away from Cedar Point in Sandusky, where they are known for their roller coasters!!!  My sister can't wait for the 2 of us to go!!   Surgery wt:  344.6 last week:  312 today:  310 I think the stall is finally over, but my period is finally over too!!  Thank goodness, I was over a week late, and have never been that late before!!  Hopefully the birth control pills I stared will help to keep me more regular now. Enought ranting... Have a great week everyone!! Caroline

Aww, its too early to get choked up Marge! I had an ok week and an ok weekend.  My sleep patterns are really off so I look and feel like a zombie today.  I also woke up in the middle of the night and ate (a slice of ham, a string cheese, and a clif z bar).  I never eat in the middle of the night but I was absolutely ravenous last night.  Here's the damage Starting weight 440 Surgery weight 405 Last week 287.6 This week 284.0 (-3.6lbs) I've lost at a good clip for two weeks in a row, yahoo!

hello Marge, and all the other posters.... Nice weekend here in Northern California..Had to work Saturday morning, but did get some shopping in. It is so hard to find something with longer sleeves, as I do not want to advertise my bat wings to everyone...so here are my numbers  no gain or loss...  Beginning weight 473 Surgery weight 417 Lowest weight 181 Last week 204 This week 204 I am doing well on my eating, its just exercising thats got me down, only rode my bike last week 3x's. Denver bypassed spring this year and has gone directly from winter to summer.  Yikes! Let's see, what did we do this weekend?  I've already forgotten, how sad is that?  We did gardening on Sunday, planting a boatload o'flowers and plants in the front yard.  We have Tommy (tomato plant), Rosy (rosemary plant), Ludwig (lilac, Ludwig variety) and The Committee (miscellaneous plants including snapdragons, petunias, pansies, and God only knows what else my sister bought).  I had a packet of seeds for CA Poppies (the CA state flower), so I threw them in a pot to see if they will grow here in CO. Things I need to work on this week include a more disciplined attitude.  I have been lax in my eating, lax in taking my vitamins, and lax in taking formal exercise.  I cannot use the good weather as an excuse to blow off my gym work, and I will have to be even more strict with myself now that I have my new metal detector.  It will be really easy to try and call metal detecting exercise! We leave for South Dakota next week, I'm really excited.  It's just a road trip, but I remember when I couldn't even fit in the car, let alone go on a road trip.  I need to keep reminding myself of stuff like that when my evil Homer tells me to eat when I'm not hungry. My numbers suck, but at least they didn't go up from last week.  I feel like I have prolonged PMS. Beginning weight: 530 lbs Surgery weight: 407 lb Last week: 225 lb This week: 225 lb Kix

WOW...there are so many similarities between us!  I tell ya....I had the grandspecials this weekend too. My oldest daughter  let me take her 3 kids (twin girls and my first born grandchild (boy) . The girls are 9 and my grandson is 11...this was their very first sleepover!  My daughter has issues with me leaving her abusive old man 26 years ago...so we aren't that close. Anyway...Sunday my son-in-law helped DH build our new deck. I was right out there using that post hole digger and hauling crushed rock. I could NEVER have done that stuff a year ago. In fact when we got this home in Sept. 07 I could barely pack & unpack without being out of breath or having to sit every 5 minutes or less!  I totally understand the emotions of having missed out alot with my daughters because of my weight...but hell...I can sure enjoy the grandkids!  You can too!  At least you aren't missing out on both!  My weight loss seems to be slowing down, but I am gonna keep hangin in there pluggin along!  HUGS  Jeanine Starting Weight: 284 Surgery Weight: 252 Last Week: 183 This Week: 181 WANNA BE OUT OF THE 80's!!!!!
