Oy, am I glad Wednesday is over!  We had our DSL upgraded, which meant getting a new modem, which meant listening to my sister curse for three hours while we were installing everything on her computer.  Once we got her computer set up, the rest of the home network was easy.  What took three hours is her inability to allow anyone to help her, plus she must have a lot of crap on her computer because it takes forever to boot up.  Anyway, it's done, and I like having speedy internet. The gym is open.  I plan to go to the rec center for vigorous exercise, plus it's aquacise night.  What did you do to move your body today? Kix

Good Morning Kix! The weather map on the early morning news this morning showed possible snow up your direction..... I hope it was just a typo or something, LOL I did 30 mins straight on the recumbent bike and my thighs were like over cooked noodles when I got off....

Oh, rainclouds and a good night's sleeps makes it a difficult morning to move! I really was running late this morning.  I did 40 minutes on a forest trek on the treadmill.  It was a slow walk and I'm glad because my knee was bothering me.  I finished with about 10 minutes left and blew off the lower body workout. I get my new dining room and buffet tomorrow so I'm going to steam clean my carpet in the LR/DR tonight.  I always sweat doing that so I'll get a little more in tonight.

Speedy internet is a great thing.  My Mom finally converted from AOL dial-up (!) to Time Warner's RoadRunner service; she's amazed at how fast it is and she's using the internet a lot more now.  I love the fact that my Mom's online!!! I'm having lunch with a friend at Stir Crazy, so will go to the gym after work.  I'm planning to do 60 minutes of cardio; may do some stretching as well depending on how I feel.   Kellie

I finally reached my next exercise goal - 3 miles on the treadmill.  It took 67min and burned, according to the machine, 670 calories.  I don't believe the machine but it felt good.  I also did a long series of stretches this morning when I woke up - my back and hips were very stiff from sleeping like the dead last night.  Over a half hour or so I did some excellent stretching.  It helped my outlook on life tremendously.

I did Richard Simmons sweating to the oldies. Its about 30 minutes I get up at 3 am because I am exausted when I get home for work so all week I have been doing that.

I can't imagine not having a quick internet, or a quick computer  - I am way too impatient. My mom's computer drives me crazy - mine is designed for dealing with graphics and video and is a fast, amazing workhorse. Much better! School is all done (YEAH!) and so I now have Tuesday and Thursday mornings off, so I took advantage of my time and did a longer workout - did a combo of 10 minutes of a quick warmup walking, 45 minutes of weights and 20 minutes of killer sprints (I LOVE these things - so much fun). Now, if the weather would cooperate I could actually go outside and run/bike on these mornings. Talk about wacky weather.
