Ok, curious here.  If you had any facial hair pre-op, did it get better or worse post-op?  I had little chin hairs and I swear I am getting more of them.  I am not pleased.  I have been bad with my exercise and bad with not eating enough.  I think it feeds on itself - I am tired because I don't eat enough or exercise - so then I am too tired to exercise or eat.  That and I've had this nagging headachey weirdness and fluttery stomach since I started Zoloft.  I am trying to wait out all of these side effects (which are slightly less every day), but frankly I'm getting impatient and tempermental (what a surprise...)  I think I came of the womb that way - impatient meant a month early, and tempermental, well lets just say you should read my baby book for proof.  Anyway, my goal for Wednesday is to eat 1000 calories and 80g of protein.  Exercise will be good too, but I'll be happy to just eat enough, what a weird problem to have.  I haven't been eating everything I list - I try, but usually a bite or two and I'm done.  I've thrown away a lot of food this week, and the last thing I want to do is shut down my metabolism even more!  Blah blah blah.  What are you eating?  How are the whiskers on your chinny chinny chin.  Do your tweezers smoke like mine do?

Jenn Its funny you mentioned the hair on the chin. I had a few before but shoot i thinki have the razor more than the men in the house....lol I hardly ever had hair on my legs and now it grows back in aday . i think my hair follicals must have been blocked by the fat.... if you find away to get rid of it let me know please... i couldnt take zoloft so they gave me xanax and i just quit taking them so everyone just has to listen to me rant and rave...

Not by the hair of my chinny, *****hin; at least not when I engaged in heavy-duty plucking several times a week.  I had facial hair, especially on my chin, pre-op, but it seems to be about the same now as before.  I've thought about trying Vaniqua, which is a prescription cream that's supposed to eliminate unwanted facial hair, but it's expensive and not covered by my insurance.  So I just keep plucking -  Aunt Flo should arrive in the next few days, so I've been particularly knoshy.  But so far I've mostly managed to stick with my regular snack items, just more of them.  Well, except for that run-in late yesterday afternoon with a serving of Dove Dark Chocolate promises; score:  Chocolate 0, Kellie 5.  I spent some extra time at the gym last night to burn off some of those extra calories...  Anyway, here's Wednesday's food plan - I'm pretty sure I'll do more snacking, but I brought an extra yogurt and granola to work, and we have plenty of fruit at home for tonight.  Wish me luck -

Breakfast:  1 cup 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker Weight Control oatmeal

Snack #1:  1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves, 1/2 c. sliced strawberries

Snack #2:  small banana

[workout #1:  upper body strength training, core work]

Lunch:  3 oz. broiled chicken breast, ~3 c. leafy romaine, ~1/4 c. matchstick carrots, 4 tbsp. light raspberry vinaigrette

Snack #3:  Fage 2% yogurt, 1/4 c. Bob's Red Mill Mueslix, ~ 1/2 c. sliced strawberries

Snack #4:  1 slice whole-grain bread, 3 slices turkey breast, 1 slice low-fat cheese, alfalfa sprouts

[workout #2:  60 minutes of cardio]

Snack #5:  post-workout apple

Dinner:  6 oz. ****tail shrimp, 1/4 c. ****tail sauce, ~2 c. leafy romaine, 2 tbsp. light salad dressing, 1 oz. crunchy rice noodles Snack #6:  2 sugar-free fudgesicles

Total calories: 1912
Carbs:  252.3
Fats:  43.9
Fiber:  33.8
Protein:  150.1
Today's weight:  190.9

My chin hairs are about the same, but I've noticed that the hair under my cheekbones is less noticable now which I am totally groovin on!   You seem to be in an endless cycle and I'm feeling your pain.   You don't want to eat and you have no energy to exercise because your not eating.  If you exercised you'd feel better and have more energy, but you don't want to eat.  I hope it breaks for you soon! Yesterday we hosted a speaker at church and my eating was ok, but calorie wise it was really low.  I was around 750 for the day and I haven't done that in a while.  I got 70 g of protein in which is great for 750 calories but I'm feeling an energy deficit today.  It's amazing what 250 calories will do to you!

B - over 2 hours I had 8oz coffee with 8oz mootopia and a serving benefiber ****d) and then 16oz mootopia with no sugar added carnation instant breakfast - 350 cal, 47g protein L - quesadilla - 2 small mission plus multigrain tortillas, 1/2c part skim mozzarella cheese - 320cal, 22g protein D - teriyaki stir fry with onion, carrot, 1/2 serving edamame, 1/2 red bell pepper, 1 chicken tenderloin, and 1/2 serving jasmine rice S - fiber one yogurt Calories - 1028 Fat - 20g Carbs - 119g (-30g fiber is 89g digested carbs) Protein - 89g Now lets just see if I can get it all in.

You are off to a great start w/ the mootopia, benefiber, and CIB made w/ mootopia - keep up the great work today!!!  It's hard when our habits -- eating and exercise -- get out of our normal groove, but I'm sure you will find your groove again soon.  I just know I've seen it lying around here somewhere, if I could remember where I'd seen it, I'd be happy to tell you...  Perhaps it's hanging out with my usual good mood, which has certainly left me for a few days (thanks, Aunt Flo, you cranky old fart).... Yeah I'm ok with liquids mostly, I may just end up doing more liquid meals for a while, we'll see.  My period is a little late (its generally right on schedule because of birth control) and with all the queasies I decided I should probably take a pregnancy test just in case.  It was negative, thank goodness.  I guess the queasies are just queasies and hopefully I'll be flo-ing soon.  One good thing about all this is that I didn't have my pms chocolate insanity this time around.  Those Dove promises are awfully good though, I had a sample at the grocery store a few weeks ago.  There is also some dove dark chocolate that has B vitamins added - I can't think of what its called but they make individual little bites that I saw at the store last week.  Tempting.

For me the chinny *****hin hairs are better, don't seem to be as many as before surgery. No compliants, no grumbles from me! Pre B - SF NF Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte B - ham, cheese, 3 RF triscuits, banana S - Greek yogurt w/blueberries and Kay's Naturals cereal added in L - meatcrust pizza S - turkey jerky D - grilled chicken with spicy Hawaiian teriaki sauce, veggies S - SF NF root beer float, made with RB syrup and nonfat milk

It's pretty much the same for me. But despite being a redhead my facial hair is very blond and doesn't show up much - lucky me After my meltdown yesterday I am back on track - good thing too because I gained 3 pounds last night! Geesh, that's got to be a record. Back to the drawing board. pre-workout snack: PB pudding snack: fat free yogurt, large banana snack: atkins protein bar, couple of raisins lunch: WW homestyle chicken with green beans snack: string cheese, apple snack: atkins protein bar dinner: grilled chicken and zucchini with parmeson cheese snack: strawberries with sugar free cool whip calories: 1672 fat: 55 carbs: 208 fiber: 33 protein: 107 water: above 100 ounces So far I'm doing pretty well except that I'm hungry - I must be close to my period because that is the only time I get hungry. (I'm feeling for ya Kellie - sucks, doesn't it) I eat all day, how in the world can I get hungry!

hmmmm Facial hair!!! nothing sexier lol  I have it now I had it then I wish to hell it would go away lol 

The worst part is when its like longer than my head hair before I notice and I wonder who else has already noticed because its like so friggin intermittent that I never got used to checking all the time.. can you tell it’s a sore spot? lol anddddddddddthis comment

That pretty much sums up my life right now...accept for today of course and yesterday when I had to duck tape myself to the couch so I wouldn’t get up and bake lol
