I'm not tooting at the moment, but I bet at least one of us is I slept in a little bit, and I've got a ton to do today, so I forgot all about posting Calorie Countdown.  Oopsie.  I hope everyone is well and that you are making healthy food choices and logging them somewhere (even just here).  Have a good day! No tooting here - yet!  We overslept this morning, it was 5:40 when I looked at the clock ... ugh! Hubby has to be at work at 6AM! Have a great day eveyone! Pre B - SF NF Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte

Alright, I confess; I've been tooting already today...  Such is life as a post-op.    Still waiting on the free sample of Devrom to arrive - won't stop the tooting, but should make it less funky!!  

I have a hard time on Tuesday because yoga is at 1:00 p.m.  I can't eat lunch before hand, or I'd be uncomfortable, but I start to get hungry around 12:15 p.m. or so.  So today I tried adding another snack - yogurt and granola - before class.  We'll see how that works, although I may have to look for a different combination, as the carbs in the yogurt and granola seem to have made me a bit sleepy....  

Anyay, here's Tuesday's food plan: 

Breakfast:  1 cup 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker Weight Control oatmeal

Snack #1:  1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves, 1/2 c. sliced strawberries

Snack #2:  small banana, ~1 1/2 tbsp. natural peanut butter

Snack #3:  6 oz. Breyer's light yogurt, 1/4 c. Kashi granola

[workout #1:  1 hour yoga]

Lunch:  Lean Cuisine salmon w/ orzo pasta, spinach, carrots, ~2 c. leafy romaine, 2 tbsp. light raspberry vinaigrette

Snack #4:  3/4 c. plain yogurt, 1/4 c. Bob's Red Mill Mueslix, ~ 1/2 c. sliced strawberries

Snack #5:  1 slice whole-grain bread, 3 slices turkey breast, 1 slice low-fat cheese, alfalfa sprouts

[workout #2:  60 minutes of cardio]

Snack #6:  post-workout apple

Dinner:  maybe grilled chicken breast w/ salad, 1/4 c. light salad dressing, maybe some crunchy rice noodles for texture

Snack #7:  2 sugar-free fudgesicles

Total calories: 2201 Carbs:  291.8 Fats:  57.5 Fiber:  39.9 Protein:  157.2 Today's weight:  192

I AM THE QUEEN OF TOOTING FOR SURE. I AM ALWAYS COOKING DRYED BEANS.... PINTO, NORTHERN, BLACK BEANS, 15 BEAN SOUP/SEASONING PACK IN IT, LIMA BEANS AND BLACKEYED PEAS EVEN THOUGH AINT CRAZY ABOUT THEM. BUT LEARNT EARLY ON THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO EAT MANY TO GET PROTEIN AND DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEM STAYING DOWN... WHAT A PRICE TO PAY THOUGH FOR THE ONES HANGING AROUND ME LOL... SO FAR TODAY I HAVENT BEEN IN AN EATTING MOOD. I HAVE HAD TWO PROTEIN SHAKES OUT OF FF MILK AND BODY FORTRESS VANILLA... AND A BANANA. THE ONLY THING ABOUT PROTEIN DRINKS IS THAT THEY GIVE ME SEVERE CONSTIPATION... SO AM DRINKING ALOT OF WATER BASED DRINKS LIKE SF KOOLAIDS. NOT A LOVER OF PLAIN WATER UGH... FOR DINNER MIGHT HAVE A PACK OF WEIGHT CONTROL OATMEAL WITH FF MILK INSTEAD OF WATER TO MAKE IT... THATS USUALLY WHAT I DO ANYWAY WITH THE INSTANT KIND... JUST NOT IN A EATTING MOOD TODAY... BU****CH OUT TOMMORROW!! WHO KNOWS... HUGS MARGE

I started the day with good intentions, but those were shot by 9am. I was up all night studying for my final and I just basically said "screw it" and I did just that. However, all the junk I ate caught up with me and I had a major sugar drop this afternoon - it scared me a little and now I don't even want to look at anything that has sugar in it. I'm not going to list all I ate but it was another lesson learned. Too much sugar = blood sugar too low for Pam to sustain life.

I thought I was having a low today too - I checked it, it was 109.  I think I just got overwhelmed with the heat and humidity, its miserable out!  I ended up taking a nap and felt better after.

Well my plans changed - B - 12oz mootopia, 4oz coffee, ice, sf syrup L - cup of wonton soup with 2 pork wontons, 2 crab rangoon, sweet and sour sauce (yes I know, bad, and yes I felt bad from all the carbs) S - 2 prunes and a fiber one yogurt D - don't want asian again for dinner so changing it to either a 2 egg denver omelet I won't be able to finish or some chicken breast, pureed roasted squash, and rosemary red potatoes

  It was me lol  B= Coffee milk  L= Chinese food mooshoo shrimp  Venti caramel skinny iced latte D= sausage and meatballs with sauce and I ate about 3 bites of spaghetti If I had a double layer chocolate cake here I would eat the whole thing right now....

Driving to work coffee

B - cottage cheese & 1/2 banana

L - sausage & spinach soup (with beans in it !)

D - pork chop and pinto beans

S - 2 sugar free popsicles

I really have the munchies tonight and have to keep typing!!
