spouse on track on his own
i posted b4 abou how my husband was completely depressed about the previous surgeon's advice, and how we found a new guy - thanks to this board. they were so much more helpful that my husband has once again become inspired! he has made all his new pre-op appts with in a 2 week period. during those same 2 weeks he has dropped over 17 lbs! he has a few more tests this week and then its the wait for insurance approval, and a surgery date. the dr says it will be with in the 6 weeks of summer i took off to help him with this!
thanks to all who offered such wonderful advice and i will keep you posted!

Karma....What would life be without it? 250lbs gone! 410/160... Life's sweet!
argh! hit a glitch today from endocrinologist.... she is not approving it for another month at least to see if his a1c is lower. it is 8.6 or 8.8 now and she wants it below or at 8..... then she will approve. what the heck... ? we know it will cont to drop if he can keep eating the way he has and the surgery will drop it more.... this will put it off til july at least.. i wish we could set a date.
he has dropped 25 lbs now!
