Gym is Open (Totally Tuesday, 5/13)

The gym is open!  My day should be very mundane, just errands and exercise.  Lots and lots of exercise.  I want to walk at least two miles on the treadmill no matter how long it takes.  We also have aquacise later tonight, but I'm kind of hoping my sister poops out because I haven't been in the mood for aquacise lately.  I think I need to change classes, but I'm kind of stuck going with my sister. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

Hi, Kix.  In case I haven't mentioned it lately, thanks for keeping the gym open; I really appreciate it!!!  Good luck with the 2 miles on the treadmill - of all the cardio equipment, that's the one thing I avoid.  Not sure why, but I just feel the least steady on it.   Will your sister not go to aquacise on her own?  If not, is there any chance she might be interested in some other form of exercise?  I totally understand not wanting to abandon her, but it's hard to balance that with what you need.  Sigh -  As far as my plan, it's yoga at lunchtime, then 60 minutes of cardio after work.  I haven't done cardio since last Thursday, so think I'll do 20 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes stairmill, and 20 minutes rowing machine.  That should get the old ticker going...   Have a great day -  Kellie

Kix, here's to the 2 miles on the treadmill!   Kellie, dang...sounds like a sweaty workout for you! Today was 40 minutes of elliptical on a random program which is all over the map with hills.  It wasn't too bad and I had some great music today and focusing on preparing for an event tonight at church.  So the elliptical just flew by. Then I went for the lower body work out.  I'm not finished with it as I need to do leg lifts and squats but I can do them at work.  I was running out of time. Overall, it was a good workout and I'm tired and craving some protein for energy.
