Glad Mothers' Day is over (too much food!) and glad my knee is better so I can start being active again.  Not sure what I'm doing today, but I guarantee you I will be very active. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

Good Morning Kix! I was back at 'em this morning even if the TV in the gym was acting weird.... my usual channel had the picture but the sound was the local AM radio weather station..... hmmmmmmm..... I managed to do 30 mins on the elliptical and 15 mins with the free weights any way...... LOL

I usually have my Ipod with me when I exercise, but one time I forgot it and was subjected to the programming whims of the wingnuts who run the desk.  Ugh!  I had a choice of ESPN, ESPN, Pro Golf, or Fox News.  I will never forget my Ipod again!  Are you enjoying the free weights? Kix

Spinning class today - it was speed day so I didn't work as hard as I usually do, but it is always a good workout. And yes, cute butt guy was the instructor.

How's the weather down in the Springs?  On Saturday, I experienced all four seasons in a half-hour downtown on the 16th Street Mall.  It was sunny, so I walked from my sister's car park to Starbucks, and on the way back, it got cloudy, then started to rain, then started to hail.  And me with no umbrella.  I was sopping wet by the time I made it to the Buell, and everyone in the theater looked at me as if I was some kind of hobo. I see you are still motivated at spinning class!  Kix

I was in Buena Vista this weekend and it was miserable! Well, Friday was nice for my bike ride but Friday night we had a snow storm (the poor racers who began at midnight were in the middle of it during the race - they all kept plugging away though). Then Saturday was sunny but absolutely freezing with 40 mph winds. So, I didn't get to experience too much diversity of weather, just the crazy cold wind that took my breath away. Winter is just not letting go, is it?

Winter is entirely too tenacious this year.  As a matter of fact, I have close to three inches of snow on the lawn this morning, but the streets are clear.  Since my sister is working boatloads of overtime, I had to move all our spring planters into the garage so the flowers wouldn't freeze to death.  Meanwhile, Channel 2 says it's going to be cold all week, but then it will shoot up to the 80s by the weekend.  Ah, Colorado!  Kix

Only did upper body workout today because I had some errands to run before work.  I plan to go for a good, hard walk tonight after work.  Hopefully it will still be a little breezy day because I hate walking out in the humidity.

Lucky you with the sea breezes!  I don't remember any cooling breezes in Tallahassee, just oppressive humidity.  How long did you do your upper body work today, and was it satisfactory?  Some days, I feel like my strength training isn't enough, and other days I can barely lift my arms afterwards. It was lacklustre at best.  I had my mind on the things I had to get accomplished before work. Then my husband was nagging me to go walking that night and I told him to **** off.   I don't need to be nagged and if I don't want to walk, I'm not going to do it.  Oh he made me so mad.
