I realize I am starting this way early. I hope everyone had a good weekend! I was quite lazy Saturday, and then Sunday I had food issues. My breakfast (raisin bran) expanded too much in my tummy and made me feel yucky for many hours. It was the same volume I've eaten before but this time nope, not gonna happen. It was a distasteful experience - sort of like dumping, in that I had palpitations, but more I just felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest.
Plans for the week? Work work work, and lots of time at the gym. I want to get as much weight as possible off before I travel to Boston, because I'm still panicky about airplane seats.
Yes, its crazy, but flying has been an extremely negative experience for me in the past so I am just tense about it. I fit into everything now, so I expect it won't be a problem, but better to be safe.
What are you eating today (Monday?) Post it here!

I was making my grocery list for groceries tomorrow, and decided I'd list my menu for the week (and then hopefully stick to it and not go out). Since its all full-on meals, I plan to have the leftovers for our lunches at work.
M - chicken teriyaki with pea pods, sliced garlic, edamame, and broccoli on brown rice
T - zucchini lasagna filled with italian sausage and spinach (trying the zucchini in place of noodles trick someone mentioned on estelle's recipe thread)
W - lemony greek chicken with apple, golden raisin, apricot, onion and rosemary/parsley quinoa
Th - pot roast with carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, onion, roasted peppers, rosemary, and wine
F - 30th birthday, definitely not cooking
S - denver omelets (with spinach)
I haven't been cooking much lately, and I am in the mood to do so this week.
And, while I'm at it, here is my meal plan for tomorrow:
B - 16oz 8oz (ran out) silk vanilla soy milk plus fiber, 1 tbsp ovaltine
L - 1oz sliced cheddar, 1/2 apple, 2oz ham change of plans, our Thai restaurant finally re-opens today after more than a month off (the family that owns it went to a family reunion in Thailand - how dare they! My husband announced this morning that we are going there for lunch, and that is that) I'll have some soup probably.
Edit 2 - I had a little cup of veggie soup, 1 small veggie spring roll, and about an ounce of spicy pork (stir-fry with onion, jalapeno, and cilantro). I managed to skip the rice and the mango for dessert.
D - chicken teriyaki with veggies on brown rice Switching to the noodle-less lasagna since we had asian lunch
Still trying the no snack approach, my blood sugar results are inconclusive thus far. I had one low Sun (after raisin bran AGAIN, no more raisin bran) but otherwise I don't think I had any lows this weekend. I didn't work out though, and they mostly seem to happen post-workout. I am fooling around with a few things, lowering calories, no snacks, back to 100+oz water. My weight loss is really spotty and nothing may change that but it doesn't hurt to try. I'd love to be to 150lbs lost by my birthday (3lbs away). We shall see!
You appear to be quite the cook! Can I hire you? We broke down (and broke the budget) and ordered some Dinner by Design and picked it up on Friday. They had quite a few low carb / low fat entrees to pick from. Anyway for today...
B - 6 oz nlf yogurt
string cheese
S - cup milk
L - 1/2 c veggie chili
1/4 of Pure protein bar
S - cup milk
D - Sesame ginger chicken (compliments of DBD)
veg TBD
Will be weighing in later at work ( my PMD's office is downstairs in the clinic I work in)
Have a great week all!

I thought about doing that or the zone food delivery for a while (mainly for hubby, who is having trouble losing weight these days - he's been weird about food since I had surgery, he thinks he's going to starve too). Its all pricey, but then so are groceries and protein bars and all of that lately. At least it'd be convenient and we'd go out less.
Busy but fun weekend. This afternoon we're off to the airport to pick up hubbies 2 Aunt's and 1 uncle coming to visit from Holland (for 3 weeks). I've already told hubby that the candy I just know they will bring with them is going straight to work with him tomorrow! I could only be so lucky that they bring cheese ... There staying with the In-Laws (10 minutes from us), so we'll be visiting them a lot .
Pre B - NF SF Brown Sugar Cinnamon latte

S - Eggface's Italian Bean Salad
L - homemade veggie/turkey meatball soup, 1 croccantini

I am in "bull in a china shop" mode this week - I'm just ticked at myself for the gain and the out of control eating and I am going full force into weight loss mode. (getting angry certainly does work!) So, here is the plan for today (and so help me god I am GOING to stick with it)
pre-workout snack: PB pudding
snack: large banana, atkins protein bar
snack: string cheese, fat free yogurt
lunch: WW homestyle chicken with green beans
snack: small apple, string cheese
snack: atkins protein bar
dinner: 4 ounces of grilled chicken/ grilled zucchini with parmeson cheese
snack: fat free yogurt
calories: 1583
fat: 51
carbs: 169
fiber: 28
protein: 125
water: oodles and oodles!
I don't usually like to go this low but I've got to kick start this weight loss and this plan worked very well after Christmas. We'll see how it goes.
Did I mention i was ticked at myself? Self sabotage strikes again.

I'm with you, I'm going full force into weight loss mode this week too. I am ticked at myself and at my body. I haven't been out of control but the calories and carbs are sneaking a little high AGAIN. Its so hard to get enough fiber without having high carb numbers. And then when they carbs get higher I am much hungrier.
Sounds like you, me and Kellie need to team up this week - I am definitely out of my comfort zone in terms of weight and am highly motivated to get the scale dropping again.
I'll keep posting my food here everyday this week and keep myself accountable, that's the first step for me. How about you Dunny - anything you want to try different?
And you Kellie? Anything you want to work on in particular that we can help with??
Anyone else want to participate?
