Jiggly Belly??
Ok - so I am at a weight that the conventional scale does not measure so I have no way of really knowing how much weight I lost. I go meet my surgeon tomorrow and now I am bit nervous because what if I gained weight since the weight I lost to prove to them that I am committed. Furthermore, I cannot trust those near and dear to me to tell me if I appear as if I have lost weight, because they have seen my efforts and would not dare discourage me by saying no. So, I go back to not having a real way of knowing, but wanting to know!
So I say all this to ask this - did you notice as your started to lose that your belly or hips or torso was looser? Did it jiggle? I think that it is happening to me, but heck - it might have always been this way and I didn't notice. Help!! I need you to share your experiences on this matter.

I'm sure you'll be fine, but yes as I lose weight all my skin is jiggly instead of taut.
My skins jiggles so much, I look like a big blob o'Jello! I go to aquacise twice a week, and I noticed last week that, underwater, my hanging thigh fat/skin moves just like a lava lamp!
One thing you could do until you get to a lower weight is to get two scales and put one foot on each scale. I actually bought a big a$$ scale when I weighed 500+ lbs because I needed an accurate weight daily to make sure I wasn't retaining water (due to CHF), but I know people who did the two scale thing and said it worked just fine for them.

Oh yes....I call it the "bread dough". LOL As the fat breaks down beneath the skin, it is much more loose & jiggly opposed to tighter. I used to call myself "solid packed pumpkin" LOL Guess those fat cells were so tightly packed, but now they are diminishing, which is good, but we all have to deal with the saggy baggy floppy loose skin that accompanies rapid weight loss. Age is another factor, so if you are younger, your skin will be more resilient. Best of luck to you!! Jeanine
