Milk if you tolerate it Herbal teas (chamomile, mint, red zinger, etc****d mint tea is really nice in the summer! Sugar free hawaiian punch packets added to water Lemon or lime added to your water Sugar free syrups added to your water Propel diluted down with water (its much too sweet IMO) Vitamin water diluted down with water (edit cuz I put smar****er) Passion iced tea (red tea you can buy in teabags at starbucks) mixed with sugar free orange syrup or lemon syrup or lemon juice and splenda is very yummy, especially iced, and caffeine free I also bought low carb apple juice and diluted 1:5 with water when I was having dehydration issues early on tomato juice, or V8 (yum) - might look for the low sodium versions That's all I can think of at the moment :)  Good luck!

Hi Lynn, I love the South Beach Living flavors.  I received them in the free South Beach Living kit that was advertised about 2 months ago.  The two flavors that I had were Strawberry Banana and Tropical Medley.  They are delicious.  I wish I had boxes of them instead of Crystal Light.  I've not been able to find them in any of my local stores though.  Also, I drink alot of Minute Maid Light Limeade.  Good luck.

I didn't know that south beach made a powder drink. I am gonna look and see if I can find it. Maybe I can order it online.. The minute maid is also a good idea Thanks so much Lynn

All of these are great ideas--the only thing I can add is sugar free kool-aid.  They make it in individual packets now (that you dump in a bottle and shake up) and it takes JUST like real kool-aid!!

I can understand that--I was never a pop (soda for your non-Indiana people) person so I can't say I have missed carbonation.  My surgeon allows some carbonated beverages at 6 months out--does yours?

You know I have never asked my surgeon about carbonation, but with everything I have read I just assumed that I shouldn't have it. My sugarfree Redbulls say lightly carbonated, and they go down well. I would like some others input about carbonation.... Thanks, Lynn

Lynn, I was a 2 litr  + a day diet soda drinker. I do not miss it really.....Like you though my drinks were boring nd I was having a hard time getting my fluid in Untill I found the sugar free hawaiian punch singles. They seem to have a bit of a boost like the soda used to give me.  Estelle
