Mudpies?  Are those anything like moonpies?  'Cause moonpies are pretty darn tasty.  Cowpies on the other hand, well, those are another story.   I sure hope things have moved for you in the poo department - that's the worst feeling in the world.  So I'm sending up poopin' prayers for Jen today...   I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon (annual skin check w/ dermatologist), then I'm having dinner with my girlfriends at a local Cajun/Creole restaurant (http://www.fatfishblue.com/), so for once my daily food plan's a little different.  A little...  Anyway, here's the plan:  edited 4/23/08 to reflect what I actually ate yesterday - ugh...
Breakfast:  1 cup 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal

Snack #1:  1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves, ~1/2 c. sliced strawberries

Lunch:  1 slice whole-grain bread, 4 slices of turkey breast, 1 slice low-fat cheese, leaf lettuce, medium apple Snack #2:  100 calorie pack Oreo crisps, 5 pieces Dove Dark Promises, 1/2 oz. pretzel snaps, 1 light string cheese

Snack #3:  1 c. Stonyfield plain fat-free yogurt, ~1/2 c. sliced strawberries, 1/4 c. Bob's Red Mill Mueslix

Snack #4:  1 venti mocha light Frapuccino

Dinner:  one slice fried green tomato, ~1 oz. blue corn tortilla chips, ~3 tbsp. black bean dip, ~3 tbsp. crab/artichoke/cheese cip, ~ 2 oz. panfried catfish, ~1/2 c. steamed green beans, ~2 oz. cornbread Snack #5:  4 key lime crisp cookies  Total calories:  3017 Carbs:  425.9 Fats:  99.0 Fiber:  43.7 Protein:  138.4

I have never cared for fish or seafood but just recently I am so wanting fish.  I've always eaten tuna ok, but nothing else.  I bought some kind of something at the grocery store tonight, I think its roughy.  We'll see if I still want it after I smell it cooking mmm fried green tomatoes... Stubbs bbq in Austin makes a wicked fried mater.... drool - sometimes I wonder if I'd be better off if I didn't read what people eat each day, I am a glutton (for punishment and/or in the traditional sense)

Oh, man, the folks in my office love those orange jelly slice candies!  I'll bring in a bag every so often and it just brightens everyones' day!  A couple of the guys also like the carmel bullseyes or carmel cremes, so I bring those in once in a while as well.   You root beer float sounds great - where do you find the DaVinci SF syrups?

I used to leave candy out for coworkers and the cleaning crew but I stopped after surgery so no temptation - every now and again a janitor will ask where the candy is.  I should get something I don't like and put it out.  Mike and Ikes it is.

Remember the candy counter at Sears?  They used to have the orange slices that looked real.  I loved those and swedish fish and juju bellies.   Had to fast for 6 month labs so I'm running late today on everything.  I'm dying of thirst, but my head was fuzzy so I chose to eat rather than drink.  I had to go get my new Military ID card so I could have medical coverage again and that was a 2 hour ordeal. Breakfast around 10AM  south beach diet high protein cereal bar  140 cal  10 g protein Lunch - McDonalds Grilled Chipotle Snack Wrap (Minus 1/2 of the tortilla) 260 cal 18 g protein Dinner  Grilled chicken salad with bacon and shredded cheese on it  gotta check calories I've got to pile drive the water in me the rest of the afternoon so no snacks today I'll probably have a jello gelatin with sf coolwhip or a sf pudding tonight.

Moonpies and RC Cola, now that's good eatin'! While I sit here and suffer waiting for the HRSA dude to call me back to set up an interview, I figured I'd post my food so far today.  It's pretty easy: B:  2 EAS protein shakes @ 220 calories, 34g protein L: 2 EAS protein shakes @ 220 calories, 34g protein If I can get out of here soon, I'll go walking at the Botanic Garden.  If not, the only exercise I get today will be aquacise. More later, Kix
