Ohhh.... so happy for you! I have no advice (still pre0oper) but will send tons of love, and moral support! WIshing you a speedy recovery!!!  Breathe slow... it's going to be the first day of the rest of your life! Enjoy it!!! valerie

How exciting!!!  You are probably an emotional mixture of fear & excitement, huh?  I remember it well. These gals have great advice, so I'll chime in with my recommendations too.  Bathrobe, slippers, lip balm, change of undies, deodorant, toothpaste & brush. Wear home what you wear there.  You will be medicated & groggy so don't bother with magazines or MP3 player. If possible, have someone there to help you in & out of bed ...nurses are never available when you need them. They are overworked & underpaid and stretched in too many directions at times. I know this first hand. I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery.
