Holy tiny pants batman

I went to the store today looking for something formal to wear for my presentation in 2 weeks - no luck, everything was too long and too long in the waist and all the petite sizes were either too large or too small.  I did by some shorts and 2 t-shirts though - I grabbed 22/24s for the shirts thinking "maybe in a few weeks..."  ha they fit fine.  Then I picked up 24s and 22s in shorts, khaki shorts, and by golly the 22s fit.  I laughed when I held them up because there is NO WAY those are gonna fit.  The did - a little snug, so I bought the 24s, but the 22s fit!! Anyway, no comments needed, I'm just excited.  I have to go to my hair appt now, laterz :)

way cool, jen!! you made me laugh when you said "i laughed when i held them up because there is NO WAY those are gonna fit" -- i'm still doing that! and even with items i've worn many times. every time, i think, "no, that can't fit on me!" and am shocked all over again when it does. weird, but fun, you know?

Good job!  My pant size varies due to Thigantor and Thigantorina -- sometimes I have to buy a 22 pant so it fits in the legs and then use a big a$$ safety pin at the waist to keep them from falling off. Not only that, I have basset hound legs so I sometimes have problems with the rise of the pant.   I discovered a wonderful new line of pant at Catherines called "Perfect Fit" and I wear a 3P (blue tag), which is the smallest size they offer (I think it's like an 18).  It fits perfectly in the waist and is a fuller cut in the hip and thigh area so I have room for all my sagging fat/skin.  I bought two pair of dressy pants in case I go somewhere nice. Having been a 9x in my fatter life, I'm always surprised when off-the-rack clothes fit me, especially from places like Walmart.  Fun, isn't it?  Kix

Very cool, Jen!  Suddenly clothes shopping can be fun; who knew???? Sometimes when I'm folding laundry, I wonder who owns these little clothes, because it certainly can't be me.  My girlfriend pokes fun at my little underwear (all in good humor, of course)...   Enjoy those new clothes Kellie

Kellie,  My DH does  that too and the funny part is they are far from small still lol  Its really funny when we go shopping and I  drag him along and he'll hold up sexy lingerie or a see through white shirt and say "I think you need this yep i'm sure of it" throw it in my basket and I have to find a place to dump it along the way lol   Its a new game for him I think lol

Ditching the sexy lingerie?  Girlfriend, leave it the cart, bring it home, and use it to fan the flames, if you get my drift.  Perhaps you can show him a new game or two Kellie

Your hair is totally cute!  I love it.   I thought that I had pulled out all of the stuff that is too big for me a few weeks ago.  Not so.  this morning these culotts ( spelling?) are just way to big for me.  I'm glad they have elastic in the waist.  And the spanx underneath are not helping one bit. It's so fun to see the things dropping off of you!   One of my local surgery sisters gave me some 22's a few months ago.  Of course not everything fit, but it's usually because of the cut.  There's a pair of pants that were tight that are now loose on me. One of my goals is to shop in a regular department store and not have to go in lane bryant, cato or catherines! Congratulations dunny

Thanks! :) Shopping in a regular store is one of my goals too - actually shopping in petite sophisticate is one of my goals because even if I get to a decent weight I'll still only be 5' tall
