Hi everybody, I hope this finds you well.  I just woke up and I'm getting ready to find some breakfast so I thought it apropos to open the food log thread.  Then I think I'm going to waste the day a little, maybe go to the movies or bowling or something.  Then I have a hair appt in the late afternoon.  I'm not sure what I'm going to have done - maybe just a cut.  Maybe more highlights.  Maybe low-lights.  We'll see what the stylist says.  Also not sure how I want it cut, I just know its getting raggedy and I am out of my favorite detangling product (a necessity with baby fine hair) so its time to visit the salon.  Plus I have to look acceptable for my upcoming grill session with the faculty.  (Ahh, if only grill session meant bbq).  I'm thinking about going pretty short so all the new growth blends in better.  My husband is of dissenting opinion and gets stressed that I'm going to do something crazy every time I go to the salon.  As for food.  Tues I ate way too much.  Wed I ate too little.  Today I'm aiming for Juuuuust Riiiight (call me Goldilocks).  I don't have a plan yet but I'm hankering for something Greek, feta breath and all.  What about you?  Whatcha eatin' today?

Good morning, Jen and welcome to Thursday!  Hope you found something tasty for breakfast -  Will you post pictures of the new hairdo when you get home?  I really should do something different with mine, but just have no idea what to do.  Plus, I can only handle low-maintenance cuts, so it sort of limits my options.  I can't wait to see what you decide to do - I'm sure it will be super cute!!!   Aunt Flo finally arrived, so I'm hoping my carb cravings will diminish over the next couple days.  Here's what's on my plate today -
Breakfast:  1 cup 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal

Snack #1:  1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves, ~1/2 c. sliced strawberries

Yep I'm sure I'll take pictures (have to document good hair days to prove the exist, like Bigfoot and Loch Ness monsters).  I can post some, unless its the most horrendous haircut over, then I'll buy a hat.  Oh, I ended up with a latte for bkfst (thanks hubby).  We are waiting on a water delivery so he couldn't make regular coffee.  He'd have to use tap water, the horror!  He's such a coffee snob.  We used to get six 5 gallon bottles delivered each month, we are going to have to up it to eight now because I drink so much water we end up buying bottled water at the store a week before our next delivery.   Two people, 40gallons of water.  Geesh.

I wear my hair short and sometimes pointy if it feels like being pointy on it's own (I don't use any kind of hair gel).  I haven't worn my hair long since I was in college, I really prefer the wash and wear nature of short hair. I'm drinking my breakfast (three EAS protein drinks so I have enough calories to get me through my exercise routine without needing to stop for a farty bar), and then we'll figure out things from there.  I have chicken thawing for lunch.   More later,  Kix

Well, the hair is cut.  SHORT.  I am going back on Tues for highlights and lowlights to give it more shape (my appt was so late in the day today that we didn't have time).  I THINK I like it, but not totally sure.  I may have her tweak it Tuesday if I can't style it better than she did (I feel slightly mushroomy).  I THINK I like it, I am not in tears at least.  It wasn't my regular girl, she went home sick today.  I didn't mind the new one, but liked the old one better.  I am not sure if its too soccer-mom.  I tried to get pics but its windy so I will post some later, and my food.
