EGD is over with

Good morning all! I had my EGD yesterday and everything look great, according to the Gastro guy.  He apparently does all the scopes for my surgeon, so I had complete confidence in him looking into my pouch.  I did not need a dilation (was at least 10mm) so they sent me home to sleep.  As I was "awake" for my previous EGD 2 years ago (different MD), they gave me IV Benadryl and I slept and slept and slept yesterday (yeah!).  I'll have to hook up with my MD on Monday to see what else is causing me to be nauseated everyday.   Have a great weekend everyone! -dawn

So glad it was a good experience and you did well. Hopefully your doc will have the answer for you now.
