HELLO ALL YOU OH'ERS,                  HERE IT IS MONDAY AGAIN ALREADY.... WHAT CAN I SAY, IM GETTING OLDER AS THE WEEKS GO BY LOL. AND I FEEL IT ALSO TODAY. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT MY DAUGHTER SAID OUR NEW BABY IS DUE ON THANKSGIVING DAY.. NOVEMBER THE 27TH! WHO HOO!! HOW GREAT IS THAT... I CANT THINK OF A BETTER 30TH ANNIVERSARY GIFT THAN THAT,. WE WILL BE MARRIED 30 ON THE 17TH OF NOVEMBER... CANT WAIT! I DO HOPE EVERYONE HAD A NICE WEEKEND. WE HAD TERRIBLE WEATHER HERE AND SO WE STAYED HOUSE BOUND. I DID MANAGE TO EAT OUT THOUGH TWICE. LOL WE ATE AT CRACKER BARREL TWICE LOL... I HAD GRILLED CHICKEN TENDERLOINS THE FIRST TIME AND BREAKFAST THE SECOND TIME. I HAD TURKEY BACON AND SCRAMBLED EGGS... MAN I LOVE THAT PLACE. I DID STAY AWAY FROM THE CORNBREAD AND BISCUTS... THAT ITSELF IS HARD I TELL YA.... THEN YESTERDAY WE TOOK THE KIDDIES TO BURGER KING TO LET THEM PLAY ON THE GYM STUFF AND GO CRAZY AND GIVE THERE MOM AND DAD A BREAK... SPRING BREAK WAS THIS LAST WEEK SO YOU KNOW SHE NEEDED ONE LOL.... ALL IN ALL AINT MUCH GOING AROUND HERE TODAY. HUBBY PLAYED HOOKIE BECAUSE HE IS SO TIRED AND NEEDED A BREAK SO WE MIGHT JUST GO CHILLIN TO LOWES AND HOME DEPOT. IM SURE HE WONT CARE AS LONG AS I DONT BUY SOMETHING FOR HIM TO DO LOL.... SO LETS HOP ON THEM THERE SCALES NOW AND SEE WHATS GOING ON... I HAVE MAINTAINED MINE AND I DONT KNOW HOW SOMETIMES... I WILL ALWAYS FEEL LIKE I OVEREAT AND DONE BAD WHEN I HAVE A SATISFIED MEAL... DO YALL EVER GET LIKE THAT? I THINK ITS A HABIT FROM ALL THE YEARS OF DIETING YOU THINK>? BUT I DO TRY VERY VERY HARD TO MAINTAIN... ALL YOU NEWBIES OUT THERE... OMG I DONT WANT TO SCARE YOU BUT WHAT A FEAT THAT WILL BE.... I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE TYPE ANYWAY TO WALK BY SOMETHING AND GAIN SO I REALLY HAVE TO KEEP A CHECK ON IT ... EVEN WITH SALT I CAN SEE A CHANGE SOMETIMES... SO ANYWHO ENOUGH ABOUT MY BORING LIFE LOL.... LETS SEE HOW EVERYONE DONE... NO LURKING NOW!!! Congrats on the Thanksgiving baby!  I'll bet everyone is excited! My weekend was pretty bland.  Ran errands all day Saturday and took a short drive up into the mountains.  Took another short drive yesterday, and then we went to a soul food restaurant downtown where I partook of too many tasty things (fried catfish with hot sauce, mac n cheese, greens).  At the table next to us sat two women and three young children.  The women's food order arrived before the kids' food did, and the women just plowed in and started eating without even offering their kids a single bite!    I was gobsmacked!  The waitress noticed this and immediately brought over three side portions of mac n cheese so the kids would have something to eat until their lunch arrived.  Stupid women!  What kind of cow eats in front of her kids when the kids are obviously huingry, too? As a result of my tasty lunch yesterday (complete with cornbread), I feel bloated today.  The scale shows a loss from last Monday, but a gain from yesterday, so I'm annoyed.  Even so, it's still a loss, so I'll take it. Beginning weight: 530 lb Surgery weight: 407 lb Last week: 224 lb This week: 221 lb. Kix

HEY KIX,       FIRST OFF LET ME SAY THERE ARE IDIOTS ON EVERY CORNER.... HOW CAN ANYONE SIT THERE AND NOT FEED THERE KIDS.... BUT DANG I SURE COULD GO FOR SOME OF THAT CATFISH NOW LOL.....SOUNDS LIKE A NICE QUIET WEEKEND YOU HAD AND THOSE ARE THE BEST TO ME.... AND NOT TO MENTION THE THREE POUNDS IS SWEET ALSO... KEEP IT UP. HUGS MARGE

A Thanksgiving baby?  Very exciting - it'll be nice to have a new addition to the family in time for the holidays!!!   I had a good weekend - lunch for my sister's birthday on Saturday, then poker Saturday evening with friends, went to the gym Sunday to do strength training, then just lazed around the rest of Sunday.  Of course, lots of those things involved food, especially poker.  Some times I'm not at all tempted by the goodies, but this was not one of those times.  But I will say that I go back to my regular routine without any problems, so I try not to beat myself up too badly when I stray...  Anyway, here's what the scales had to say today - Beginning weight - 396 Surgery weight - 386 Last week - 192.5 Today - 190.2 I had gotten down to 183-184 before I went on vacation in March, and would like to get back down there and maintain.  I know I can do it if I just cut back on the carbs and "treats" (like weekend poker snacks)!!! Hi Marge! I took this week as "mental health" week and didn' t really watch what I ate.  I still ate good stuff but also added some of that other stuff   So, no loss this week but no gain either. This week I'm ramping up my exercise and good eating for my race - I need to concentrate on eating healthy and pushing the exercise. I also want to get to 168 (that seems to be where my body is most comfortable and where I feel most comfortable) before the race - the extra weight can bog me down when I run and I will need all the help I can get! surgery weight: 371 last weeks weight: 173 this week's weight: 173 On to a better week

Hey Marge - I like cracker barrel too, you can get tiny portions and have them cooked to your specifications, its cheap, and the waiters don't even blink an eye at weird requests.  Those biscuits are awfully tempting though, I have to say.  Well I've been really very good with working out lately, and I am loving how I feel when I do it.  I actually feel kind of bad on the days I miss it, what a change from my past!  I've been doing a lot of strength training and the trainer warned me I'd probably be hungrier and the scale might not move for a few weeks if I am gaining muscle.  Boy was she right!  The hunger has been tough to handle but I am starting to adjust.  I am losing inches like crazy lately, and I need to take my 8 month surgery pictures (yesterday was eight months?!).  I'm losing in my thighs right now - its weird how you can spot it in one particular body part sometimes.  My butt isn't going anywhere though! :) And oh yeah, I made it to twoterville! Starting weight - 440 Surgery weight - 405 Last week - 301.6 This week -  299.0 (-2.6lbs)

I'm glad your trainer warned you about feeling hungrier as you increase your exercise!  My exercise routine is what drives my 7-10 daily feedings; I'm eating to support my exercise habit!  It's a blessing and a curse - I love it because I can still eat quite a bit.  But I must exercise a lot to be able to eat this much and not gain.  Oh well, it's all worth it I look forward to seeing your 8-month surgery pictures soon!!!! And congrats again on making it to twoterville - 'atta girl :-)  Next, onederland!!!!! Kellie

Woooohooooooooooooooo Jen!       Congrats on making it to TWOderville!  Feels awesome, don't it???  You are working so hard...I'm glad you are seeing results!  Way to go on the exercise & training too....Its all good!  HUGS  Jeanine
