I did full body strength training last night so I am going to stick to cardio and maybe the ab machine tonight - try to get to 350 cal burned from cardio. I am up to 5 whole minutes on the elliptical LOL! I did keep the treadmill at 3.2 on most of my fat burning program last night (probably about 15 of the 25 minutes was a 3.2) - I Zimbra from Talking Heads is really uplifting during a workout - primal - I think I'll just put it on repeat :) I need to make a playlist of faster songs so I'm not scrolling through my ipod while I'm on the treadmill.
I have a weird problem after the treadmill - I can go 5 minutes or 40 minutes and it feels fine, it doesn't hurt, but as soon as I stop my left hip cramps up. I can warm up, stretch it, whatever, nothing helps. This does not happen when I just walk fast, and it does not happen during my workout, just as soon as I am done. I've tried doing a few minutes walking and then something else, and back to it, but it doesn't matter. It hurts for a while and then it stops. The leg press machine stretched it kind of nice and eased the cramping, but didn't totally stop it. I'm not sure what to make of it - its the same side that I've had mild sciatica in since I had my ecg (the tech bent me into a weird position and held me down - and since I've had a pinched nerve issue) so I'm wondering if part of the pinched nerve is that muscle. Back to the chiropractor I guess.

Back from the gym - did 2 miles on the treadmill in 40ish minutes - I alternated between 2.4 at 8% incline and 3.2 and no incline, switching every 5 minutes. With the cool down it came out to 360cal. That's the most I've done on the treadmill, yay :)
I left the house early this morning with my long list of tasks, including going downtown to try and change our theater tickets. My schedule went GAZORP first thing when I was stuck in traffic on Colfax for 25 minutes while I waited for the Denver PD to clean up a nasty car wreck on Colfax and Speer. That was fun. No luck changing the theater tickets. I hadn't eaten, so I went to my favorite breakfast spot for bacon, toast, and decaf. I had a feeling I wouldn't get to the gym today, so I walked the length of the 16th St Mall up and down, then did a loop back to where I parked the car.
At each stop today, I made myself do extra walking (either around a building or around the perimeter of a store). I racked up 9875 steps today. I feel each one, too. I'm exhausted. It took me six hours to finish all my errands today, oy. Oh, I forgot to mention that shortly after I started my walk down the mall, it started snowing, and I left my coat in the car, so I managed to get quite soaked. Oy.
