Gym is Open (Thursday 4/3)
I did a full circuit of weight machines today, which felt good. I also tried the rowing machine, but rowing is not rewarding when the rower (me) has basset hound legs. Not much extension there!
I tried the stair stepper again and no luck, the pedals just don't lift off the ground. I really wanted to try the stair machine (the one with the real stairs), but people were hogging it the entire time I was there. I did 10 minutes on the elliptical, which is a personal best for me. I'm beginning to enjoy it, and I think it is helping my knees remember how to bend. Right now, I'm only doing the leg part of the elliptical, not the arms. I burned 130 calories on the elliptical.
We went to aquacise this evening and had a nice workout. I like this teacher much better, and the pool was a toasty 93 degrees. I warmed up on the elliptical at the rec center while waiting for my sister to show up, and burned 60 more calories.
Kix
