Jen, aka Dunnyboctor, seems to be MIA today, so I'm starting the calorie countdown in her absence.  Hopefully she's off having a grand time and will come back with stories of a wild adventure!  (Can you tell I sometimes live vicariously through others???).   Anyway, I've been focusing on bringing my daily average back down to around 2200 (from an average of 2800 during March!) so here's what's on my plate today -

Breakfast:  1 cup 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker Weight Control oatmeal

Snack #1:  1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves, 3 large strawberries

Snack #2:  1 small banana, 1/2 cup cream cheese pudding with 2 tbsp. sugar-free strawberry sundae topping

[workout #1:  lower body strength training, core work]

Lunch:  leftover beef stroganoff made with beef tenderloin and lots of fresh mushrooms over egg noodles

Snack #3:  venti non-fat latte w/ sugar-free vanilla syrup

Snack #4:  1 slice whole-grain bread, 3 slices low-fat turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese, 1 small apple

[workout #2:  60 minutes of cardio]

Dinner:  cornmeal-crusted catfish fillets sprinkled liberally with hot sauce, coleslaw (heavy on the cabbage, light on the dressing), either southern-style green beans or collard greens, maybe a small wedge of cornbread

Snack #5:  2 sugar-free fudgesicles

Thanks for starting the thread - its 5 in the afternoon and I'm just getting on to a computer for this first time, which is amazing since I work on the computer.  I had 2 meetings and then 2 classes right in a row today.  My bum hurts. So far I've had a glass of milk, a piece of chocolate, and the insides of a chicken fajita.  I am about to have the insides of a beef fajita, and I don't know what's on tap for the evening.  I'll post all that later :)

I'm still going  crazy at work its 6:30 and i'm still here, Gawd I hate my job this time of year! and the worse part is not the work its that I worry something terrible that my boss is mad at me for not being super employee and not having to go through this crap every April! if he was mad he would be right this time, I have looked for one transaction in my system for 2 days I can't find what i'm looking for. It has to be a mistake I made and whats worse is its all the way back in August,  For the first time since I quit smoking I have a chest cold, So thats probably why I have been such a little whiner this week!  B=coffee and a light N fit yogurt  L=chicken roll  6 pieces  (sushi place)  D=not sure yet  Last night I went home and had 1/2 a bag of kays  (i'm not sure what happened but it made me a little queezy, i'm going to try again but thats what Happened the time before when I had them as well)

Sometimes Kay's taste really good and settle really well for me, and other times I'll have just 2 or 3 pieces and be queasy & find them very unappetizing.  It seems like if I am super duper hungry they settle better for me.  I don't know why, but I know what you are talking about.  If you are sick you'd better up the protein so you heal!  You immune system is all about the protein.  I hope you get through the work hassle soon :(

Well its 8:45 i'm home, Thats an hour earlier than I even left last nite lol   Tomorrow my little guy has his play so I wont be working late. Thank goodness.  I never found the transaction.  weirdest thing ever! I just had some chicken soup with lots of chicken and I used the other 1/2 bag of kay's for crackers all broke up in my soup. It was pretty good and I figured it was more protein. My cold is getting worse, I'm sure its all about the stress. I always get some kind of illness when i'm stressing. First day of school every year I was sick lol  I have asthma but I have not had any problems since I quit smoking, its been over 4 years. Hopefully this clears up I will probably go to the docs tomorrow if my lungs still feel tight because Its hard to fix once it goes to far.  Thanks  SS

My brother has asthma, poor kid.  I was always sick on the first week of school too!  I would get very stressed when it was time to go back to school.  Dunno why, I loved school.  I think it was nerves about getting picked on - which I hardly was.

Hope you feel better soon - sometimes if I go back to all liquids or liquids and mush for a day or two pouchy gets less grouchy.  When I throw up I usually take it easy on pouchy for a few days.  My bowel is also uncooperative.  I had to take miralax for 3 days before I got any relief, and I still think I am kind of clogged.  And the gas pain, oh mercy, the gas pain!!
