MONDAY WEIGH IN!
Good morning, Marge. From the multiple Monday weigh-in posts, looks like you were having problems this morning too. OH servers must have been having issues - hopefully all is well now.
Here's my numbers for the week:
Beginning weight - 396
Surgery weight - 386
Last week - 190
This week - 192.5
I had gotten down to 184 at the end of last week, but over the weekend I did a lot of grazing and I did not exercise at all. It only takes a couple days of "misbehaving" for it to show up on my scale. So, once again, I'm back on track today. I really want to get down to 170-175 and maintain there, but I just don't seem to be able to keep myself on track long enough to get there. I'm going to keep working on it until I get there, but sometimes it's frustrating...

I am still not in twoterville. I didn't really do my part - I was good about exercise but fairly bad about food. I also haven't done number 2 in a few days (on my third day of miralax, having toxic gas but nothing else grrr) so it is possible that I am actually under 300, but I doubt it.
Starting weight - 440
Surgery weight - 405
Last week - 301.4
This week - 301.6
I started laughing out loud when I read about your phone - that is SO something that I would do! Funny, funny
This was a crappy week and the crappy scale showed how crappy I had done, and it sounds like I'm not the only one - was it a full moon last week? Seriously, this funk I am in is driving me batty. I also moved which didn't help at all. I've done better today but geesh, I need to get over whatever it is that is bothering me (it could be a number of things, I'm kind of a clearing house of messed up emotions right now).
So, here's the damage:
surgery weight: 371
last week's weight: 168
this week's weight: 173
My support group is next week and I am REALLY looking forward to it - I've missed the last 2 months being out of town. I think being there will help a lot.

Sorry about your phone Marge, but I got one helluva chuckle out of it....easy for me to say I 'm not the one who has to buy a new phone huh? LOL I had a good week. This weekend I had one daughter & grandspecail visit on Sat and another daughter with 3 grandspecials come for dinner on Sun. They all ate spaghetti & meatballs. I had just the meatballs with ricotta baked in my toaster oven. I have been cleared for pasta but I ain't gonna go there. Don't need it, don't care if I have it, so for now, No thanks. LOL I only eat bread but once a week also and no rice at all. Who knows how long I'll be this good, but for now, I can't see eating something I don't crave and can do without, right?
We had freezing rain again this morning, but....they are saying in the 60's for the rest of the week. I'll believe it when I see it! I took a long brisk walk over a mile yesterday. Thats the most I have ever done. I would have gone further if not for the pain in my hip joints. Yup...its still with me so I am seeing my PCP on Wed. about it. HUGS to all! Jeanine

Hi all, This is my first time checking in. I've been having a rough time of it with nausea so I wasn't very active last week/weekend. Nurse said to stop Actigall for approx 3 days and see if nausea improves, as I'm getting my water and protein in. Good news - got 40 minutes (x2 x 20min) in on recumbant bike today.
Beginning - 406
Surgery - 374
Last week - 344
This week - 341
3 lb loss for the week. Have a good week! Dawn
Hello Everyone!
I'm new to this forum. I've peeked at your pages and they are very inspiring. I had my RNY on Monday, 11/26/07 and compared to LOTS of post-ops on OH I would be considered a sloooooooooooow loser. However, I am determined to stay positive and to continue to stick to my exercise routine, take my vitamins, drink my protein and water, and make the right food choices IN SPITE Of the slow weight loss. It is VERY hard though. So please pray for me yall.

It's great to see everyone's great work! We'll get there if we keep trying!
Pre-op weight: 390 pounds
Weight this week: 245 pounds
Total lost: 145 pounds
Well I have been at 250 for about a month (after hitting 245 in early Feb). I do not usually count it as a gain because TOO MUCH factors into weight gain for me (CHF - water loader) so I never add it back on. Well - it was amazing to see 245 this morning after a month of holding onto 5 pounds of somethin'. Turns out I upped my cals. I have been eating WAY below my BMR (I just know it) and I think I was in major starvation mode. Some days I wonder if I am going too high but I don't think it's coincidence that I increase my cals and start losing again - 5 pounds in less then a week. Umm hello?! So I am back where I was and there is room for improvement from here! YAY! I will admit I have a minimum of 2 - sometimes 3 - protein shakes made with water in addition to my food intake. Might be that added protein factoring in maybe?! I'll take it!
Looking forward to weighing in next week - let's hope there is movement even lower!
Jenny
