I didn't exercise yesterday because of my allergies, I hope I don't have this problem again today!  Spring is mostly a blessing, but can be a curse when the pine trees shed pollen (achoo!) What did you do to move your body today? Kix

I took the day off for my Birthday, so I'm chilling at home, I might go take a long walk after the cable guy comes and goes, and I might not... LOL I hope your allergies are better today!

Bless you and your achoos!  Hopefully your allergies will be doing better today so you can enjoy being outdoors -  I'm trying something new today -- a yoga class.  Yoga is good for flexibility and core strength, and flexibility work is the one thing I don't do regularly right now.  I haven't done any exercise classes since I started back to the gym after my surgery, so I'm nervous about looking stupid in front of a bunch of other folks.  Fortunately, one of my friends is going to the class too and she's been taking yoga for about a year now.  She's been encouraging and supportive, and I definitely feel more comfortable going to the class knowing she will be there.  Wish me luck!   If I'm not too sore from yoga, I plan to go back to the gym after work for 50-60 minutes of cardio.  Yesterday I did 20 minutes on the elliptical, 20 minutes on the stairmaster, and 20 minutes on the rowing machine.  The stairmaster still kicks my butt!!!  If I'm up to it, I'll do the same routine today -  Kellie

You rock on with your bad yoga self.  I definitely plan to take yoga classes once I'm smaller - its fantabulous, makes me feel sooo good!

I just got back from the yoga class, and I loved it.  It felt really good, I was able to do most of it, and I just feel so, well, refreshed and relaxed.  Now I'm wondering why it took me so long to actually go to a class instead of just thinking about it!   I'm going to add this Tuesday afternoon class to my regular routine, and am going to look at the group fitness class schedule to see if there's another class later in the week that I can try as well.  Fun, new stuff -  Kellie

How was the yoga class?  I don't trust my knees to bend enough to do yoga.  The rec center does offer an aqua tai chi class that would be fun if it wasn't so darned late at night.   Kix

The best laid plans just didn't happen for me today. I was going to do my fav trail and run 4 miles but instead walked most of it. I just didn't feel like running - I don't know if it is because I'm still recovering from the climb or due to this funk I've been in for a few days (can't seem to shake it - I think it's the letdown of my big high at camp last week, it's hard coming back to the real world after that).  So, I walked 4 miles up and down some hills. At least it's nice outside, although it's still a little cool at 9am. Thank god for spring break this week - I'm enjoying having my mornings free!

Well, if you need some extra exercise, you can head down to campus and fill in that big hole they dug to build the new science building.  Seems they don't need it now that the legislature has pulled the funding.  I can't believe it -- I mean, the hole is already dug and the school really needs a new science building.  Just build it! I walked outside today and enjoyed it so much!  I'm going up to Evergreen and Blackhawk tomorrow, so I'll be walking outside all day long.  I can't wait!  Hooray for spring! Kix

I couldn't believe it when I heard they gave the money to someone else! I thought the money had already been promised and to do that is just down right wrong. Of course I have to walk by that everyday and I tell ya, it is SORELY needed - the classrooms are completely overbooked on campus. It's a madhouse most of the time. Amen about spring - it is so nice to be outside in the sun! I remember someone saying that you can't get vitamin D from the sun in the winter - do you know if that's true during spring? I would like to think I have been getting LOTS of vitamin D the past couple of weeks!
