Three Months Out....
Just got home from seeing the surgeon. I'm three months out and I'm down 77 pounds since surgery! I was stunned...it took me a minute to do the math! The doctor also told me that he'd bet I'll lose around another 70 lbs before I see him again in June. That's 145 lbs! I'll be under 300!! OMG! 
Doing the happy dance at my house!!! Come on over!

I told Dr. Chae that I really appreciate him always returning my phone calls so quickly and that he'll never know how comforting it is to me just to hear his voice - then I almost burst into tears!! I thought omg! I sound like I'm stalking the poor guy (no, I've only had to call maybe three times!) and then I'm almost crying on top of it! I'm telling myself that he hears this all the time and lots of patients just spontaneously burst into tears........yeah, that's it!

I had totally forgotten this but at my 3 month appt. I totally balled, complete breakdown. I had lost about the same amount as you and gotten below 300 and was shocked, since I didn't weight myself that much at the beginning. I remember Dr. Chae being so nice - he took my hands and asked me to tell him what I was feeling. I have NEVER seen a surgeon do that - I loved him before that but that just confirmed my absolute admiration for him. What an amazing man he is!
I am moving to the Springs, for a few months at least. I'll be commuting to Denver everyday but I'm looking forward to being with my mom.
