Gym is Open (Good Friday, or Hooray, It's Friday!) 3/21
Good Morning Kix!
WOOOOHOOOO AND TGIF!
I'm trying to find ways to change up my usual gym routine, so this week I've been doing cardio-only every other day and a little cardio with my weight training on the alternate days.... so today it was:
15 mins elliptical
10 mins leg training
10 mins arm training

Good morning, Kix! I hope you find the energy for all your exercise today - that's quite a schedule you're contemplating -
I'm going to wrap up my week with another 2-a-day, in part because I can't make it to the gym this weekend at all. So I'm going to do my lower body strength training and core work at lunch, then 50-60 minutes of cardio after work. Then on Saturday and Sunday I will rest and recover from five days in a row of 2-a-days!!!
Kellie
Kellie, I'd like to work up to "2-a-days." My sister and I are switching to an earlier aquacise class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which means I will need to meet her at the gym rather than wait for her to come home first. I might begin doing 2-a-days on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Enjoy your weekend off, you certainly earned it!

No exercise, not feeling well today and much more sore than I would have expected. I wanted to clean my patio and get ready for planting, but its also going to have to wait.
Oh, dear! It sounds like you might have overdone it a bit. I hope you rested up today and are back to your peppy self! I have some seeds (forget me nots) that I picked up at the Home and Garden Show last month, I'm going to try and plant them as soon as the weather stabilizes a bit.

The day started for me at 2am - &*%^#* body is just all wigged out right now! Every morning at 2 or 3 am I wake up and can't go back to sleep. So, I got up and spent a few hours packing, finally felt tired enough to go back to sleep and then slept for a few more hours. This camp really threw me off and I'm not sure what to do to get back on track. I'm hoping that once things calm down a bit I can get on a more sane schedule.
I ended up running this afternoon instead of my usual morning run and good grief it was windy! I think I get extra points just for running into the gale storm we are having - I felt like a cartoon character going in slow motion. I ran 4 miles despite the wind - I'm just so glad the sun is out and there isn't any snow on the ground, running is so much more fun now.
The rest of the day will be spent packing - I'm almost done, a week early too. My place is a disaster but at least I'm almost done.
I can't decide whether to believe Channel 9 or Channel 2. One says it will be in the 70s by early next week, the other says low 60s. At least the snow has finally melted, although we are spoiled here. When I lived in St. Louis, it would snow in November and the snow would stay on the ground all winter long and get all ugly.
Good job on the running! Also, good job on the packing, too. I pared myself down to the bare minimum when I moved up here, and it was strangely liberating to get rid of "stuff."

I went to aquacise this morning. It was an aqua arthritis class taught by a crappy substitute teacher, so I only stayed for one class. The warm water limbered me up enough to do a vigorous, 300 calorie burning routine on the in-line skating machine. I have decided that there is nothing in life that cannot be solved by listening to good mambo music.
