GOOD MONDAY TO ALL,         I HOPE ALL THE WEEKEND PLANS WENT WELL AND YOU ARE DOING GOOD... DONT KNOW ABOUT SNOW KIX BUT OUR GRASS ALREADY NEEDS ITS FIRST CUTTING ALREADY...UGH... ATLANTA GOT HIT PRETTY ROUGH OVER THE WEEKEND WITH TORNADOS BUT WE JUST GOT THE WIND THANK GOODNESS... I MYSELF DID A DO NOTHING WEEKEND AFTER THE STAIRS KICKED MY BUTT ALL WEEK WORKING ON THEM... KIDDIES SPENT THE NIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT AND WE MADE FUDGE CUPCAKES/BUTTERCREAM ICING... JEEZ THEY SMELT GOOD... I MYSELF WENT AND BOUGHT THE DREADED RITZ CRACKERS... YUP I KNOW WHAT YALL ARE SAYING.... WHY BUY IF CANT HANDLE.... THATS WHAT I SAID ALSO... NOW I SIT HERE CONSTIPATED,,, TMI , SLALTY BLOATED FEELING AND BUMMED OUT BY KNOWING I DIDNT NEED THEM... I DONT SIT AND EAT FIVE CRACKERS EITHER SISTERS... I HAVE TO HAVE THE WHOLE SLEEVE OK! SO TODAY IS GET HOUSE IN ORDER AND WORK SOME OF THIS SALTY FEELING OUT AND PRAY FOR A BATHROOM BREAK LOL.... A REAL BREAK... LOL IS THERE ANYTHING WORSE THAN CONSTIPATION??? I DRINK ALL THE TIME BUT IM NOT A HUGE BREAD EATTER AFTER SURGERY SO THIS IS WHY IT KILLS ME I GUESS WITH ALL THE CRACKER BACKUP... WHAT KIND OF EASTER PLANS DO YALL HAVE? WE ARE EITHER GONNA EAT OUT WITH GRANDCHILDREN AND DAUGHTER AND HER DH OR GRILL OUT... I WOULD RATHER EAT OUT AND JUST HAVE A LAYED BACK DAY WITH NO CLEANING LOL... WE WILL HAVE TO SEE.. I HAVE TO GET IN NANA MODE AND SHOP WITH THE EASTER BUNNY THIS WEEK FOR GOODIES FOR THE GRANDCHILDREN AND OF CORSE THE CUTE CLOTHES FOR THEM... IM HOPING MORE OF YOU OUT THERE WEIGH IN TODAY THAN LAST WEEK... SORTA SMALL CROWD THERE..... I KNOW WE ALL STAY BUSY AND LIFE GOES ON BUT TRY TRY TRY TO MAKE IT TO MONDAYS WEIGH IN.. SO LETS ALL GET ON BOARD AND DO IT UP... I HOPE YALL HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY... AND WATCH THE OLE DREADED CHOCOLATE..... ITS EVIL I TELL YA... Morning Marge and a happy St. Patty's Day to everyone!
I missed last week cause I was getting my lovely 7 freaking hour iron infusion, thank goodness it's over, and hopefully i'll only have to go through it once a year(fingers crossed). We are making easter chocolates (bunnies and eggs and carrots oh my)  like crazy at the shop this week so I have absolutely NO interest in eating the stuff, however I do have a fondness for peeps, so last night we bought a pack of the SF ones and when i got home i opened them up and bit the lil chicks head off and was sooo sad... it just wasn't the same without the sugar tearing apart the roof of my mouth...lol I ate about half of one and gave the rest to my honey and then felt icky for the rest of the night, i guess i don't tolerate the sugar alcohols very well...which is fine, i don't really crave the sweet stuff much anyway, it was more of a head thing with the peeps...IT IS EASTER...MUST EAT PEEP CHICK HEADS.... I have more issues with carbs...they are from hell I tell you! I FORBADE my honey from buying those new half cracker half pretzel things that they are advertising now...those are like crack in a sleeve for me....(think Homer Simpson drooling over donuts and thats me and crackers and pretzels). Anyhoo...the kids took us out for dinner last night for our birthdays and I had 3 tiny little hot wings and a couple of bites of my lettuce wrapped no cheese protein burger and i gained 3lbs over night and i didn't even have a drink...grrrrrr... i was down 110 lbs for my 6 months surgiversary but oh well the wings were divine!!!

Top of the mornin to ya Marge!  Happy Corned Beef & Cabbage Day everyone! LOL.  This will be my first time having that in a year...hope it goes ok.  Had a good weekend.  Made up some cute Easter goodie bags for the grandspecials although I won't be seeing them this year My oldest daughter decided to invite my other daughters to her house & didn't invite me because her father will be there (my ex) so I can' t be included. So DH & I will go out to dinner with my parents , sister & her DH.  I'll either have ham or turkey with a little mashed potato and veggie.  No big deal.  It has been a bit of a challenge smelling all that darn chocolate in the stores.  I'm not into alot of candy but I adore jelly belly beans. DH may get me a small bag of SF ones. If not, its not a big deal.  Hey Marge, have you tried eating Regular  flavor goldfish crackers when you get that urge?  You can have 55 of them in a portion. Just a suggestion.  I think I broke my stall this week. My weight loss seemed so sluggish there for awhile.  In 2 months at Curves they measured me today and I had lost 22 lbs and several inches, especially my thighs, arms and waist.  She gave me the print out but I forgot to bring it home.  Anyway, nice to see results from hard work!  HUGS Have a Happy Easter everyone!!   Jeanine Beginning Weight:  284 Surgery Weight:  252 Last Week:  199 3/4 This Week:  197

Hi Marge, Happy Easter Week.  Well, I was pretty excited early in the week because the weight really dropped - 3 lbs in 3 days.  I was hoping to be under 300, but not only am I not, one of those lbs seems to have come back to stay for a little while.  Our bodies are so strange.  I'm sure getting close to under 300 though!  MAYBE next week.  Here's the damage Starting weight - 440 Surgery weight - 405 Last week - 304.8 This week - 302.6 (-2.2lbs)

Hey Marge,  I'm with ya on the cracker thing. The other day my DH went and got me soup but didn't bring me back the crackers that come with it because I told him to never give me crackers! lol  Well for once he listened and I was like "wheres the crackers?" lol  I actualy moped alittle because of it lol  I had a really busy weekend looking up all kinds of things for what may be my new Bakery cafe.  we'll see if this works, CROSS YOUR FINGERS~ Chocolate is not a big deal long as I don't buy it lol I never been a big sweet eater and I have some Gum issues so I really can't eat sweets anyway ..........But the breads and crackers?  Now those are killers.   I did see some movement on the scale this weel so i'm sooooooooooo happy!   and We are having kinda a nice sunny day today.  Have a great Week and Don't work to hard this week!!!  Estelle Beggining Weight=392 Surgery weight= 344 Last Week=263 This week=259.5

Crackers I can handle but keep me away from tortilla chips or chocolate.  I'm a raving lunatic when it comes to either of them.  But whatever you do, DO NOT try to take the chocolate from me.  I bite.

Marge I feel ya on the Big "C"! I had it so bad after surgery I would Literally have my feet up against the wall trying desperately to relieve the....umm...backup.. It's awful painful and just a plain miserable feeling. I know this is going to sound nutty but I use it for my puppy when he eats things he shouldn't.. a few spoons of canned pumpkin do the trick. I know your thinking you nut but it really works. Not the pumpkin pie mix but just the canned pumpkin. Tastes not soo great but anything's better than a clogged, sore tushy I don't have any plans for Easter weekend just the usual hunt for eggs and baskets. We have a vacation planned for Busch Gardens the first week in April though. I'm so excited I'm trying to talk my sister into coming with us so she can ride the BIG rides with me. I did at SeaWorld and screamed the whole time but it didn't matter I FIT on the ride and it was SOOOOOO GREAT...I didn't even sweat in the heat...YEEESSS!! Now as for the weight issue. I was supposed to be doing the 5 day pouch test but dropped the ball. My lady time started and well to be honest I'm not a real thrill to be around and NO food is off limits. So  with that in mind my weight has gone up farther than I'd like BUT hubby's cycle break is coming up and he assures me I  have MANY 14 mile rides in my future!! Hiya, Marge!  I didn't know Ritz crackers could be used as a butt plug - thanks for helping me figure that out I was on vacation last week, so didn't have access to a scale or a computer, so no Monday weigh in for me.  Unfortunately, I'm home now with access to both a scale and computer, so have to fess up.  I ate anything and everything I wanted while I was on vacation, and Aunt Flo arrived yesterday, so I've gained some real weight and am retaining fluids.  Here's the ugly details -  Starting weight:  396 Surgery weight:  386 Weight from 2 weeks ago:  187.7 This week:  198.1 I had been down to 183.5, so am not happy about where I'm at.  I'm doing a slightly modified version of the 5-day pouch test and am back to my regular 2-a-day exercise routine, so hopefully my regain will be a distant memory pretty soon.  The thing that I find particularly interesting is that I can really tell I've regained, in terms of how my clothes are fitting, how I move, and how I feel in general.  I definitely feel much better when I'm eating right and exercising regularly, and it's nice that I'm now self-aware enough to recognize that; makes it much easier to work back into my regular routine.   Kellie

Happy St. Patty's Day! Had a good weekend. We went up to Lake George and got some stuff at the outlets. Got sneakers so I can start exercising more!! I haven't had sneaks in years - my feet were too large to be comfortable in them and I did nothing active that needed them. I was so psyched to find a pair that fit comfortably and am looking forward to putting them to good use!  For Easter we're heading to my sister-in-law's house in Mass. We're thinking of going into Boston on Saturday and doing something. Don't know what, but before we wouldn't have even thought of doing something in Boston because it would've been too difficult to get around. Just love these changes. It will be the first time I've eaten at someone else's house since surgery. Found out what she's having - ham - and decided to bring a cucumber yogurt sauce to help make it go down smoothly - at least I hope it will!  On with the numbers... Beginning weight: 402.5
Surgery weight: 340
Last week: 291.8
Today: 287.6
