Gym is Open (St Patrick's Day, The Real One)
I just noticed you changed your flirty avatar!
We have an Anytime Fitness up the street from our house. Sometimes I wish I'd checked into it before joining Bally's, mainly because I could walk there and back (it's less than a mile each way).
Even so, I don't mind Bally's, and there are two within 3-5 miles from the house.
I've also slacked a bit lately on my formal exercise, but I resumed things today. It felt good!

Snow sucks!!!! Its sunny here today but im not gloating because its still cold and if I gloat we wil get a storm so i'm just feeling very bad for you ! God Knows i'm sick of the white *&^^%% lol
I'm going to the gym today Mondays are my Cardio days according to the gym trainer so i'll do either 30 mins on the elliptical (if no ones on it) or 30 on the tredmill..
Good luck with the shovel!

Hi, Kix! Thanks for keeping the gym open, even as you're getting snowed under. I'm hoping that the worst of our winter weather in Cleveland is over... but I won't be surprised if we get a bit more snow before all is said and done.
As for my exercise, I did my lower body strength training routine at lunch, plus a little core work. I'm going back to the gym after work for 50-60 minutes on cardio. I did some exercise while I was on vacation, but nothing like my usual routine and I can really tell a difference in how I feel. Hopefully, I'll be back to "normal" in a couple weeks.

Went to Fitness Anytime and talked to them, toured, etc. Got a couple of free workouts before we decide, but I LIKED IT! It was clean and machines were really nice, new, shiny, well padded, and ergonomically designed. With Tvs. I am a sucker for high tech.

Its 24hrs card access gym - it doesn't have a pool but it has everything else a gym would have. Its staffed from like 7am to 7pm and the rest of the time you open it with your card. It wasn't big, maybe 5 treadmills, a tread climber, 7 ellipticals, 3 recumbent bikes, a full circuit of weight machines, free weights with benches and whatever, and exercise balls. He said they limit the number of members per location to keep it from getting packed. There were some things I liked a lot about it, like private bathrooms/showers/dressing rooms and how clean and new it was, and the towels/sanitizer bottles at each station. And with our crazy schedule its nice that its 24 hr access. Things I didn't like - lots and lots of cameras.
Edit - oops its called anytime fitness :)
Sounds goood , Who cares about the cam? It just means you and Ryan better be good at the gym at 3 am when no one else is there lol Or maybe not and they will let you join for free lol Oopps did I say that? Anyway its what I like about my gym and I can do what I want when I want and they don't close untill 10 pm which means if I get out of work late I can still make the gym without feeling like I have a choose work or gym.

Well I just know I'll do something stupid on the treadmill or fall off of something and they'll save the tape and put it on youtube :P
