I got home from Vegas late Friday night - we had a great time, fabulous weather, and lots fun visiting with my friends from high school that joined us for the weekend.  Gambling was average, but entertaining (I did not come home a millionaire.....).  Bette Midler's show at Caesar's Palace, The Showgirl Must Go On, was fabulous.  And I pretty much at everything in sight.  It was a nice break from the routine, but I'm glad to be home and settling back in to my normal routine.  I'm actually looking forward to going to the gym tomorrow....  Who'd have thought that would ever happen?   Anyway, just wanted to say "howdy" and that I've missed my OH peeps.  Look forward to reading everyones' posts and catching up with what's been going on in da 'hood -  Kellie

Mostly a pretty quiet trip.  One good funny though - there were lots of smoke shops and Indian markets in the area where we stayed.  One place we passed was called the Punjab and Smoke Shop.  I joked with my girlfriend that I'll need a punjab (pronounced it poon-job) to have Ms. Kittie put back where she belongs when I have plastic surgery.  My girlfriend didn't get the joke, so I had to explain it.  Several times.  Wasn't quite as funny when I was done, but every once in the while during the week one of us would say "Ms. Kittie needs a poon-job" and the other would just crack up.  I can hear myself now, high as a kite on pain killers after I finally have plastics, asking if Ms. Kittie got a poon job.  I feel sorry for my surgeon....   Wish I had more exciting tales to tell, but we spent the week sleeping in, reading, lounging by the pool, and eating!!!  I got lots of R&R, which was the goal, so I'm relaxed, refreshed, and ready to go!!! Oh Kellie, I am soooo jealous! I am dying to see Bette's show! I've seen her once years ago and she was amazing! We were trying to add on an extra stop to our upcoming vacay to "pop" in and out of Vegas to see her but we just couldn't swing it as we are already doing 4 states in 2 weeks as it is... Glad you had a great time! ~Lori

4 states in 2 weeks is a lot, but girl, you MUST make it to Vegas some time during the next 2 years, which is how long The Showgirl Must Go On is at Caesar's.  Bette is just a fabulous performer, completely at home on stage, super funny, and her voice is like liquid gold.  Worth every penny we paid for the tickets!!! I am wondering about poon jobs now!  LOL  Does most insurances pay for tummy tucks (I don't know if I'll ever be rid of that little fat apron (well its getting littler but who knows) will ever be gone???  And the old boobs are looking more & more like tube socks...My God, talk about bread dough!  LOL HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP   lol  Believe it or not, I fear the pain of plastics more than I did the WLS!!  HUGS  Jeanine
