Calorie Countdown - Thursday already?

Wow I can't believe its Thursday.  This week flew by and I got soooo little done.  Spring break is next week and I think I'll be working through it, but that's ok, no one will be there to bother me and I like that.  I just finished buying Spamalot tickets.  June is going to be eventful for me - A week in Boston, 2 days later a weekend in Austin and Eddie Izzard, and then 4 days later Spamalot.  That's more than my social calendar generally sees in six months, sadly.  Its been a good week weight-loss wise, which is probably why I'm exhausted and still headachey.  I've lost 3 lbs since Monday.  I am looking forward to the Monday weigh-ins because MAYBE I'll be under 300 (I was 302 this morning).  I've been eating a little more so I wonder if that is spurring the weight loss?  I don't know, I just know I've been really hungry this week, and feeling hungry makes me uneasy.  I've also had a flexible pouch this week, its allowing me to eat more food per meal, which also makes me uneasy.  How annoying! What's your Thursday menu looking like?  So far, I've had some coffee.  The hunger never hits until I've been up for a few hours, so I've been drinking milk in my coffee - or I should say coffee in my milk, a lot lately.  Its my kick for the week and cheaper than Starbucks lattes.  And smoother, I hate how you never know whether your Starbucks drink will be fantastic or a burnt bitter flop.  When Ryan worked there, I would only order something when certain people were working the bar.

Happy Thursday to you - I'm so glad this week is finally over - I think the time change just hit my body today - I did not want to get up and I feel so tired today! Your June sounds like fun!! I love my milk with coffee every morning.  If I get a drink at Starbucks that doesn't taste "normal" I make them re-do it. I figure I may be a pin but I'm paying for it. Since I have a no drive-thru rule since WLS I don't have to worry about a mistake being made there. Pre B - SF NF Eggnog Latte

B - ham, cheese, 3 RF triscuits

S - Greek yogurt w/ fresh blueberries and Kay's Nauturals Cereal mixed in

L - cottage cheese with Splenda peaches, turkey jerky

S - banana and some protein - either cheese or more turkey jerky

D - homemade turkey chili, salad

S - sliced mangos V - done W - promised everyone I'd drink nothing bu****er today, maybe that's why I'm tired, no caffine from my normal weak ice tea all day long! Anyway I've already gotten in 64oz. E - walked

I will usually make them re-do it too, unless they are really busy and I just want to get out of there.  If its drinkable and they are busy I'll just drink it.  I don't have a no drive thru rule since surgery, but I do not like to use the drive thru anyway because its a waste of gas.  Sometimes if there is no line I will do the drive thru, but I do have a no drive thru and then sit in your car and pig out rule though - because I used to sneak food that way.  If I were to use one, it'd be to take things home and eat WITH someone.

Drive thru's were a very bad spot for me when I was very large, I would go to them all the time.  Sneak eat, order extra things and eat them on the way home, before eating dinner, just bad news all together for me. I made my own rule that no matter what, I would not use a Drive-thru (if at all possible) after surgery. If I can't get off my arse to walk in and get it then I don't need it. Heck, I went so far as to walk into McDonald's for hubby and my MIL (I go****er) in a snow storm in Tucson just so I didn't break this rule. They didn't want to get out and wanted to do the drive thru, so I told them I'd walk in.  I also set a rule that no one gets me food if I ask for it, same thing - I need to get off my arse or I really don't need it. I used to always ask people to get things for me, now I'm the one doing the serving, because I can and I love it! Might be mind games, but so far they are working for me.

B - 1/2c avgolemono soup, 1/2 pita, 2 slices of fresh mozzarella & 2 slices tomato (caprese salad) L - 8oz mootopia, 4oz chai, 1tsp honey D - 8 tortilla chips with salsa, 3oz chicken, 1/2c beans, some pico de gallo S - 1 piece of sf werthers, 2 pieces of hard candy with sugar - I felt kind of funny after dinner and sometimes a little candy settles me S - 16oz mootopia, 6oz coffee, ice, shot of sugar free vanilla syrup We went out this evening to play mini-golf.  It was fun and the best part was that I won, by a landslide.  I tried to play golf a few times, my short game was terrific but I couldn't drive the ball at all.  Boobs got in the way, and its a shame because its such good exercise if you walk it.
