The gym is open. I hope to get to the gym today, but I have an errand downtown, so I'm not sure I'll have time.  At the very least, I plan to do a lot of walking. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

Don't pull anything, now.  You don't want that old hernia to pop back up! Kix

My usual strength class was canceled, so the day has started off a little weird. It actually worked pretty well for me since I have a test this morning and need the extra study time. Plus, I am running tonight with a friend, so I figure that will suffice for my exercise. So, I guess my exercise will be running 4 miles. This past Sunday I ran 2 - 3.5 mile runs outside (one in the morning, one in the late afternoon) and I didn't feel like I was going to die! So now I am really motivated to run outside more - I feel like I am becoming a runner! Only 2 more days until I leave for Moab!!!

Was that you who ran past my house as if the block was on fire?!    Probably not, I think 7 miles would put you in Littleton, and you'd still need to run up to Red Rocks and then over the hill, making sure to dodge all the $&%*$ CDOT work on West Alameda Parkway/C470. Sounds to me like you are a runner and not just becoming a runner!  Well done!  Kix PS:  How long will you be (torturing) yourself in Moab?

I feel like to ran to your place, I am sooo sore today! Not sure why, I did 4 miles which I have had no problem with lately. But I did run in the evening and I have a harder time running then, so maybe my body is telling me something. I tell ya though, it was GORGEOUS last night. I was done running at about 6:30 and it was still 60 degrees. I'm so ready for summer! The torture takes place for 3 days (Friday-Sunday). Then I am staying Monday and Tuesday for the Jeef Safari, a big 4x4 drive event that takes place the whole week. I have some friends who are hard core 4x4'ers and will be there so I'll be going out with them in their big time souped up jeeps. It will just be an outdoor kind of week - I just hope the weather is nice and warm!

We were out last evening coming home from aquacise, and the weather was still nice.    These tastes of spring are almost cruel, particularly when I heard weather dude say we just might get one of those evil March snowstorms Sunday night/Monday.    Ugh!  I haven't been 4x4ing since I was in high school in Utah, which was about eight billionty years ago.  If memory serves me right, the weather in Moab is usually pretty decent, but then, I haven't been there in a very long time.  I understand a lot of folks have moved there, so it's having growth issues, I hope they haven't ruined the natural beauty.  Be sure to take lots of pictures!  Did you say you would be blogging during your journey?  If so, would you repost the blog URL? I had a personal record today - 8 miles on the recumbent bike - it took about 40 minutes.

Wow!  On the way to aquacise class, I saw a dude riding a recumbent bike outside.  It looked really uncomfortable and not fun at all like the recumbent bike at the gym. Are you alternating between bike and treadmill, or just doing whichever machine winks at you when you walk in the door?  I am toying with alternating between in-line skating machine and treadmill, but this means going to two different exercise facilities.  Might be worth it, though.  I do enjoy the in-line skating machine.
