Calorie Countday - What did you eat on Thursday?

Hi all, Brrrr.  Its cold and rainy and windy here today.  And I gave away most of my warm clothes. *shiver* What are you eating today?  So far I've had 1.5 eggs (over medium), one piece of rye toast, and 1/2 slice of canadian bacon.  The rest of my day will consist of some milk (chai latte) for lunch and then a chicken dish for dinner (probably chicken, kidney beans, corn, ro-tel and cheese mixed together with brown rice).  I am not tracking today calories today, but I am trying to go easy on the salt because I'm puffy from yesterday's salt attack. And oh yeah, its 7months today - I should probably take a picture.

Sending you warmth and sunshine - it's in the high 70's here today and beautiful!  Happy 7 month Surgiversary to you! Here's my plan for the day -

Pre B - SF NF Carmel w/chocolate soy milk latte

B - cottage cheese with Splenda peaches

S - turkey jerky, later on Swiss miss Diet hot cocoa with 2 SF marshmallows

L - Wonton Soup with shrimp

S - Kay's Natural cinnamon toast pretzels, 2 chunks of watermelon

D - baked burritto's made w/ whole wheat tortillas, refried beans, chicken, pepper jack cheese and green sauce. I make them like enchiladas, and eat mostly the insides.

S - sliced mangos

Today is much better. After the insanity yesterday, today was a welcome respite. I have discovered something and I'm wondering if anyone else is this way. I have found that most of my eating is due to wanting something in my mouth all the time. I think that's why tootsie rolls are so appealing - I can suck on them all the time but never get full. Is anyone else this way and if so, do you have any words of wisdom to conquer it? Todays day: pre-workout snack: cheese stick snack: small banana, 1 atkins protein bar snack: 1 atkins protein bar lunch: WW chicken in garlic sauce with squash snack: 1/4 c. raisins, fat free yogurt dinner: chicken tenders with parmesan and bread crumbs, grilled zucchini with parmesan snack: 3 granola bites calories: 1560 fat: 55 carbs: 186 fiber: 28 protein: 99 water: 112 ounces weight: 174 (ugh) I'm kind of detoxing after yesterday so I'm keeping it a little lower than usual. But I've been feeling good all day, my sugar is totally level. I need to remind myself of that - eat right, feel better. Tell me again why it's so hard to remember that?

Detox day!  I sort of had one too, after all my salt yesterday.  I ended up getting into tortilla chips this evening though - stupid HEB handed us a bag of tortilla chips free as we were walking out.  Stupid me accepted it.  Stupid chips are gooooooood! Yep, I have an oral fixation too (I responded about this in a different reply to you also).  I chew on things if I'm not careful.  No wisdom, except stop!

I'm starving !!!  all day today I'm going to contribute it to the lots of exercise that I have been doing and I have been trying to drink my way through it.......I hate when I get like this.....It could be because I have talked to my mom 3 days in a row and we always have such uplifting conversations about my weight, Like today she told me that when I was 8 or 9 she asked me if I ate the other kids food at school and I said I did.   She says things like that so I wont blame her for my weight and that I know it was my own fault!!  Thanks I needed to vent....anyway heres what I ate today and all of it belonged to me lol  B=1 egg  L= chicken ala king over biscuit I ate the big chunks of chicken it was home made from a local cafe I didn't eat the biscuit and almost no gravy  S=cookie D=baked chicken strips and broccoli 2 cheese ravioli  S=kays 1 serving  all my vits  lots and lots of water  and 2 coffee with 1/2 & 1/2 1 sf ff hot coco Thanks  SS Edit::  35 mins on the elliptical

Lots of exercise makes me hungry too.  Actually I've been unusually hungry this week too.  Usually its sort of in the back of my mind but not a nagging hunger like the last few days.  Ugh.  Your mom sounds like a headache - I understand, my FIL is the same way (my mom is awesome though).

Day 2 and still taco-free. B:  12 boiled shrimp @ 200 calories, 42g protein (according to Fitday)       1 enormous mug decaf with 8 oz carb countdown milk, 90 calories, 8g protein E:  vigorous in-line skating machine, 300 calories expended, plus upper and lower body strength training  S: 1 venti decaf L:  1/2 chicken breast sandwich (made at home with boneless chicken breast and a steak roll).  I was starved and ate it too fast, so it sat in my esophagus for 1.5 hours.  It wouldn't hork up nor go down.  I did not finish the other half of the sandwich.  414 calories, 36g protein S;  1 Atkins bar @ 150 calories, 11g protein D: 1 chicken leg/thigh quarter, which went down without incident:  331 calories, 37g protein S: 1 Atkins bar @150 calories, 11g protein S2: 1 can Instone protein pudding (forgot to take my acidophilus earlier) @100 calories, 20g protein Totals:  1471 calories - 300 calories expended = 1071 calories, 166g protein Kix
