What Has Changed???
You go girl with your sexy self! I want to wear heels again, but I am petrified to go beyond 2" and those skinny little things they call heels these day make me wonder...just how much weight CAN they hold?? LOL I have a fear of falling...maybe because I have been so darn top heavy for years. I hope that disappears. These are great changes....kudos to you! HUGS Jeanine
I was worry about them holding me at first. I stand almost 5'8 and I weigh 190 lbs. I love them. I started off with the 2" and gradually moved up and now I have even wore some stilletos(sp)
I have added some pictures to my profile.

I checked out your profile and you look so beautiful! I love the look of satisfaction and happiness on your face in the photos!
Maybe its not the weight on the heels I fear as much as weak ankles and past falls where I broke my foot once & sprained it bad another time. I am still skittish of stairs..its ok going up but I am slow to come down. Hell, with these boobs...I haven't seem my feet from a stand up position in years! Hope that resolves itself! LOL HUGS Jeanine

I'm only a couple of months out, but these are some changes so far.
1. Able to get up off of the floor without help. I fell today and even though it was embarrassing I was able to get up quickly by myself.
2. No more diabetes!
3. Fitting in my car! When I had gotten so large that the steering wheel was in my gut so far that it effected my steering I tried to get a new car, but I found I couldn't fit in any car I tried (and I tried almost everything less than $40,000!)
4. Personal hygiene is a biggy for me. I hated not being able to clean myself well and I'm so happy that is no longer a problem.
5. Wanting to leave the house, not because I have to, but just to get out and do something.

Here goes! 1.) I was able to zip my leather jacket today! I do not think I have ever done that. 2.) Enjoying trying new foods & recipes to eat healthy 3.) I no longer look for the parking space closest to the store 4.) Seeing people I have not seen in awhile, the expression on their face is priceless! Love the compliments from everyone 5.) No more injecting 4 times a day with insulin - only once if needed!!! Michelle..
Thank, you are a doll! I was taking humalog and lantis but only take humalog when my reading is above 140 - which is most nights before bed - and still it is usually under 170 - so that is better than the 300's I wa****ting prior to surgery. The weight loss is slower with the insulin - maybe I should call my pcp and see if there is another alternative - maybe Byetta would be an option at this point. Or do you know of any that do not cause weight gain?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Michelle...
Aaahhhhh another one of us hard at work I see LOL...Lisa & I are emailing back & forth on company time LOL. I took Byetta for a brief period between July and Sept. I lost about 12 lbs...it does curb your appetite and give you a slight feeling of nausea...barely noticeable but enough to make you not want to eat...which is good. So to answer your question...the Byettta wouldn't make you gain...just the opposite. HUGS Jeanine
