Hello all Thank you so much. Im still here in the hosp will be for a week. Imfeeling better diagnois a clot hit my filter and sent a shower of little clots to my lungs and i had a silent heart atttack. My filter saved my life. My surgeon is fantastic he sees me everday usaually 3 times aday. he has been great so kind and caring.. Ifeel he has saved my life at least twice. My dh is super to i love him so much. Thank you so much guys for all the encouragement. Estelle omg i got your flowers and cried thank you so much they bloomed and our beautiful..thank you

Were thrilled your doing better... :) You have an angel on your shoulder.  RU still in ICU? if not, what is your new room # ?

So very good to hear from you. That's just awesome that the filter did its job! So often when we have to get a procedure like the filter, we don't appreciate the impact it can have.

Oh Lisa...its soooooo good to hear from you...you gave us all quite a scare.  Hope you come out of this stronger than ever.  I am so happy you have such a wonderful DH and MD.  WIshing you continued speedy recovery.  HUGS  Jeanine

Lisa sooo glad you are feeling better. and thank you God that you got that screen. That was soooo scary. I am so scared to have the surgery now. How did you get the screen?

I wanted to stop by and say hi and thank you all so much.. I dont want anybody to be scared of what happened to me. The surgery is great i am no longer on insulin and nowonly take 1 sugar pill aday. my legs dont hurt at all. yeeehaww I have a family history of blood clots i lost 2 aunts to clots and my mom has them. It was just one of those things that was going to happen anyway . thank god i had the filter.i have learn ask for this if your dr dont recommend it. BUT PLEASE DONT BE SCARED OF THE SURGERY.. thanks everyone
