Do I belong now?

When I started my weight loss journey I weighed 503lbs and my BMI was 74.8 now I am down to 331lbs and my BMI is like 49.2 or something.  Does that mean that I don't belong in this support area now?  Is this just for people with the BMI over 50?  Or does it mean starting BMI?  I read the posts all the time in here but never really post.  People who have been as obese as I was understand me better then the people that had a starting BMI of like 45.  I just like being part of a group and I feel lost now.  Thanks in advance. Britt

Britt, I know what you mean I will (not often)  sometimes post on the other boards and mostly I feel like they don't really understand what its like to be SMO,  Your doing great I hope to read more of your posts and get to know you better.  Estelle

Hello Britt,  I think I speak for the majority when I say you are welcome here anytime. The board is titled BMI Over 50, but I believe thats just because we all understand each other regardless of our current BMI.  Its not about your numbers...its about helping each other and you will get a tremendous amount of help & friendship here. Congrats on your success so far!  Jeanine

Thank you ladies!  I am glad that you all understand being SMO and that i can rant or rave about something and most of you will either understand my feelings for it or have been through it yourselves.  Thanks again. Britt
