I did have a smurfy Saturday but Sunday kind of sucked. I was planning on going to a movie and dinner with friends but the weather was just too nasty. So I stayed home and did basically nothing. I haven't done that in a long time, so you would think i would of enjoyed it. But I HATE being inside now - I'm so use to going and doing things that I went just a little stir crazy. WHEN IS SUMMER GOING TO GET HERE!!!!!?????
Ok, on to the scale. I didn't weigh in last week since i was out of town, but I did weigh when I got back and found I had gained 5 pounds over my long weekend, yikes! So I buckled down and lost that this week.
surgery weight: 371
weight two weeks ago: 169
weight one week ago: 174
this week's weight: 169
I have just 9 days until camp and I've modified my goal from 160 to 165. I was kind of hacked off this morning when I stepped on the scale - I have been at 167 for the past couple of days and was not happy to see 2 more pounds! But I'm just days away from my period and I always gain a few pounds right before, or at least I keep telling myself that. let's just hope I can tame my PMS cravings enough and not go bonkers.
Everyone have a great week!

Good morning, Marge and welcome to another Monday. I had a fun weekend, especially enjoyed celebrating birthdays with my family yesterday. Unlike you, we celebrated at home, so Chuck E. Cheese wasn't on clean-up duty! We did easy food though (Stouffer's lasagne, salad, garlic bread), so our clean-up was pretty easy. Of course, the lasagne, garlic bread, birthday cake and ice cream showed up on the scale this morning... Here's my numbers for the week -
Beginning weight - 396
Surgery weight - 386
Last Monday - 184.3
Today - 187.7
Not worried about being up a bit, as I know it's because of what I ate yesterday plus I'm starting the monthly pre-period fluid retention. Such is the cycle of life!!! Have a great week -

Well Marge Chuckee and I are old friends because I hate to clean ....lol.... Love to party though.
And you are beautiful and I think i'm finaly starting to understand the uncomfortable part of the people always commenting. I used to say tell me all how good I look I can take it. But now Its like if they don't say something I wonder what they are thinking and when they do say something I think wow I must have really looked bad lol Then there are those people that say things like "whats diff about you?" did you dye your hair? lol anyway, your gorgeous, and I think its great that the ole noggin hasn't changed a bit cause your great just the way you are!
now for the bad part

Well Marge, if I looked as smokin' hot as you, I'd walk naked through my neighborhood!
Like PJ mentioned, we had our typical Colorado weather pattern this weekend. Saturday was sunny and glorious with a lovely 74 degree temperature. EVERYONE was outside. We went to audition vets for the dogs and found a terrific vet just down the road from our house. We then went for a drive and all the parks were packed with people enjoying the day, and here in CO, you can gauge how nice the weather is by how many people are out on mountain bikes. The bike paths were all packed, too.
We went to dinner at the Rock Bottom Brewery, where I had salmon fish and chips. It was SO tasty! We then walked off our dinner by wandering up and down the 16th Street Mall (a walking mall in downtown Denver), then my sister took me to her office so I could see her veal pen (cubicle). She certainly keeps her veal pen tidy, wish she was that tidy at home.
The highlight of our Saturday was seeing Hal Holbrook perform his Mark Twain Tonight show at the Buell. The theater was sold out and Mr. Holbrook gave a stellar performance. If you like Mark Twain and have an opportunity to see this show, I highly recommend it.
Sunday sucked. A nasty storm blew in and dumped 8 inches of heavy, wet snow on my side of town. I think PJ's side of town might have had even more than we did. The wind howled, too, so it was impossible to see anything due to the blowing snow. We had planned to go to a movie, but ended up staying home and doing home chores. The good thing about that is my home chores are done for the week, yay!
No weight change this week. I think I've been shorting myself on water the past few days and eating a few more carbs than I need to (like the mashed potatoes with dinner last night). My sister is working late all week, so I think I'll just eat my main meal at lunch and do protein drinks for dinner.

Good Monday Marge,
I had a semi-smurfy weekend. I cleaned most of Saturday, had lunch with some friends on Sunday, and then a dinner/Wii party at our apartment last night. It was ok, but I cooked a lot and ate a lot of junk. Somehow I cooked a lot of healthy food and then picked the least healthy thing I was serving (gnocchi) to actually eat.
The guests had fun and fortunately my very clean apartment isn't the worse for wear. My anti-social cats are still pissy though.
I lost a little this week - its been a steady 2-3 lb loss for a couple of weeks now. I was hoping to be under 300 by my anniversary but it doesn't look like it will happen (6 more days). Oh well, I'm close.
