MY fun facts for the day -

Why is Easter early??

I thought you might be interested in this trivia. The date of this coming Easter is quite early this year.

Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

Here's the interesting info. This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:

 1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year
2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

 2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year
2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!

I did pretty well until about 10 minutes ago, and I was ravenously hungry in the head hunger kind of way.  I tried to mitigate the damage by eating salad.  We'll see what the scale thinks about that tomorrow. B:  1 Instone protein pudding, 20g protein, 100 calories E: mountain goat treadmill and both upper and lower strength training, 260 caloires expended on the treadmill S:  1 Atkins protein bar @ 150 calories, 11g protein L: 1 Atkins protein bar @ 150 calories, 11g protein      1 venti decaf D:  lots of tacos @ 600 calories, 32g protein S:  lettuce with salad dressing and cheese, @300 calories, 15g protein Totals:  1300 calories - 260 expended = 1040 calories, 89 g protein I thought I was tired of tacos, but not yet.  I may just have to impose a moratorium on tacos if this keeps up much longer.  I do get in these weird food ruts, but this is beginning to get ridiculous. You know the first day you posted about tacos I thought hmmm.. a taco sounds awfully good.  Now, what two weeks later, I am thinking "how on earth is she still eating tacos?"  I can hardly eat left overs, much less the same thing for day after day after day.  I just had ravenously hungry hit also - I am not sure if its head or tummy but I didn't eat much of my dinner so I am thinking tummy.  I am sharing some popcorn with hubby, and I had a few strawberries.  Hopefully that takes care of it.
