The gym is open. My knee was giving me fits yesterday, so I did not exercise.  I want to exercise today, so we'll see what my knee thinks about that. It's going to be a nice day, too, so I want to get out and enjoy it. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

My husband decided we are having a party on Sunday, sans consultation, so apparently I'll be cleaning.  I don't want to wait until the last minute and there are bathrooms to be scrubbed (especially the one with the catbox eeeew), laundry to do, 3 boxes of clothes to wash and mail (once I find boxes), carpet spots to clean (hairball spots, thanks again cats), bedrooms to organize, offices to make vaguely presentable.  And then there's the living room and kitchen.  I'm kind of irrititated because except for tonight he works every afternoon and evening until Sunday.  Smooth.  I had planned on cleaning my patio and planting this weekend but looks like I won't get to it.

After all that cleaning, you can get some extra cardio and lower body work in by repeatedly kicking your husband's azz for planning a party at the last minute.  I'd ask "What was he thinking?," but obviously, he wasn't. Kix

It's sunny here, but still cold.  Thankfully it stopped snowing.  I had to wait at home this morning for our new washer to be delivered, so I got to work around noon.  End result of that is no lunch-time workout.  I'll go to the gym after work though.  Think I'll do my upper body strength training routine, some core work, then maybe 20-30 minutes of cardio if I have time, energy, and inclination.   Hope your knee is feeling better soon - Kellie

Kix, I hope your knee is all better and you get to move a shake a bit today,  Thanks for the info on the pudding i'm going to ty it since I seem to be having a had time eating enough protein.  I went to the gym today and did 35 mins on the elliptical on level 3 . I think that machine knew I said the tredmill workout was better because it tried to kill me today lol I really stepped it up alot today and concentrated on keeping up a good pace.  I did 2 mins on the stepper, not really worth posting huh? lol Thanks for posting :) Estelle

I did go to the gym today and did mountain goat treadmill (manual setting, increasing the incline every minute until I hit 13-14%).  I also did both upper and lower strength training because I haven't done upper body in a few days.  It showed, too.  I almost had to start over with the upper body, only doing two sets of 15 reps. I had to stop at the store and get bananas for my sister.  I also wanted a venti decaf, and of course, there's a Starbucks every 500 ft, so they were both in the same shopping center.  I parked in the middle and walked to the store to get bananas, then walked to Starbucks for my decaf.  I remember when I couldn't walk more than a couple of steps down the hallway with a walker.  I am grateful! My sister and I had planned to take the dogs for a walk this evening, but she came home in a foul mood and declared, "I'm going to aquacise!"  Before I had a chance to respond, she was gone.  When she's mad at or about something, she gets in these snits.  It's really unattractive, but it's her issue, not mine.
